Some of the commentary is pretty funny: not knowing what 'poignant' actually means, Hosking calling the wind 'blistery' and the bulldogs player 'moving decisively through the backline' as she badly fumbled a handball

Very wasteful in that quarter kicking 1.6, should have kicked at least 4 or 5.

It's the third time this season we have kept a team scoreless and fourth time goalless at halftime.

Outscored teams 32.38.230 - 14.17.101 in first halves.

Pretty good straight line speed once she's on the move. Not particularly quick over the first 5 and is slow if she has to change direction.

Yeah, she looked like a 100m sprinter in a game where she had acres in front of her. I’ve never seen an athlete be so slow but have good straight line speed like her.

I stood behind our goals in the second quarter and it is very very windy, made the inaccuracy understandable.

Safe to say now that we’ve locked in a top 4 spot. Pretty good effort and if it wasn’t for an ordinary quarter against Brisbane and a couple of mistakes against the Crows we’d be top 2. Room for improvement but I think the players and the coaches deserve a pass mark for the year so far.

I reckon we need to make the Grand Final from here though, anything less would be a let down after the hard work the team has put in.

Finally, need to give credit to whoever designed our jumper for this match. The royal blue outfit with the white socks is a great look. I think it’s the best AFLW Pride guernsy I’ve seen and is 10 times better than what the bulldogs have on today.

That was a little disappointing, should have crushed and embarrassed the dogs. but were unable to convert our dominance. Still, we came out the game injury free, so bring on the finals, and probably the Crows in week 1.

Yeah, I think one of the teams should be wearing black shorts or a much different shade of blue when it’s us and the bulldogs. Still, I reckon the all blue indigenous and pride outfits we’ve had this year have been very, very good. Credit to everyone involved.

As a fellow aging gent with failing eyesight, at no stage did I think it would be a problem, I thought the different hues were far enough apart on the colour pallette to not be an issue.
