Yeah, I think one of the teams should be wearing black shorts or a much different shade of blue when it’s us and the bulldogs. Still, I reckon the all blue indigenous and pride outfits we’ve had this year have been very, very good. Credit to everyone involved.
Dogs should have worn pink shorts.

One little milestone that wasn't mentioned during the game, Jasmine Garner's first goal today was her 50th for NMFC. She is the first woman to reach this milestone.

As a fellow aging gent with failing eyesight, at no stage did I think it would be a problem, I thought the different hues were far enough apart on the colour pallette to not be an issue.
The easiest way to tell the teams apart was to observe which ones had the ball.

Good effort by all the girls today however 2 changes need to be made for next weeks game...Mia King and Lulu Pullar in with Craven as one of the outs...not sure of the other though..
Gavalas first out. Just looks too flat footed and not prepared to chase. Thought Craven was fine.

Craven was better however her defensive skills let her down and it showed against Adelaide last time we played them so l think she must give way to either Mia King or Lulu Pullar..

I would suggest that Craven, Gavalas and Martin are the three battling for the last spot. I don't think Craven or Martin have done a lot wrong and would be a little unlucky to miss, but at the moment I would say Martin is the least likely to play as she only averages around 3-4 disposals a game. Gavalas is too slow and should be the first omitted.

Safe to say now that we’ve locked in a top 4 spot. Pretty good effort and if it wasn’t for an ordinary quarter against Brisbane and a couple of mistakes against the Crows we’d be top 2. Room for improvement but I think the players and the coaches deserve a pass mark for the year so far.

I reckon we need to make the Grand Final from here though, anything less would be a let down after the hard work the team has put in.

Finally, need to give credit to whoever designed our jumper for this match. The royal blue outfit with the white socks is a great look. I think it’s the best AFLW Pride guernsy I’ve seen and is 10 times better than what the bulldogs have on today.
Top 4 👍
Hopefully we can upset our bogey 3 teams (Brisbane, Adelaide & Melbourne) in the finals ….
Otherwise, we need to try something different next season , wash rinse repeat team …. Crocker another chance ?

perfect senario for us would be we beat Adelaide and Brisbane beat the Dees...

Depends on how much Geelong beat Hawthorn by, if they win by 35-40, the best scenario will be Melbourne winning by 15-20 and Brisbane dropping to sixth.

Was my first time at an AFLW game today since Norths first year. Vibe was great but gotta say, it was shit if you actually wanted to watch football. You’re lucky to go 20 seconds without someone walking in front of you or stopping to chat. Don’t know if it was because it was pride round or because Whitten Oval has these massive wide concourses but people treated it more like a festival than a game of football
