She seems to get underneath the ball a bit too much with her hook kicking whereas when she is field kicking and boots long for distance, she tends to not arc as much. I think she easily makes the distance from 50 metres if she just runs straight.

Maybe needs to learn the Benny Brown run up at full pace

For a game between two likely finalists there didn’t seem much for us to be worried about.

I have kayo - I think it will expire in around March but I aren't really sure. I used it occasionally. I hate the company but am semi-contemplating a Foxtel sub (I know, it makes me feel dirty). It's a dilemma.

With the greatest love and respect for our Irish women, I think that the rough edges and raw skills that they still have are not as much of a hindrance or as marked a difference to their team mates and opponents in AFLW, whereas Irish men need to be considerably better developed before they can impact at AFL level. So it comes down to player development and we simply don't have the resources to be able to teach an athletically gifted Irish man how to kick, handball, mark, tackle, and bounce the ball to a satisfactory level.

We have enough trouble teaching our home grown players to hit a target!!

Old mate in the commentary booth would probably have 3 votes going to Katie Brennan. His fawning call when she fumbled the ball as she attempted to gather and handpass but completely missed with her fist (which kind of makes it a throw) was just a little over the top and sad.

The North Melbourne AFLW team have been a force since their unfairly delayed entry to the comp.

Cheated in the covid year interference, grand finalists and consistently the best Vic team.

So when there's a Herald Sun poster promo, NAB, Toyota, AFL, random sponsor trying to "AFLWash their sins" promo who do I see:

Collingwood
Carlton
Richmond

These sponsors can all gagf. A preview too that should the AFL side ever get it's shit together, it won't mean shit for promos, fixtures etc. The "big" clubs will just be cemented up the front of the queue like always.

Giving Rennie a rest l would agree with as well but in regards to King l have noticed that she is becoming more physical in her game compared to previous seasons. She is putting herself into more contests and being competitive..

Rennie does deserve kudos for the way she knocked the ball nearly 30 metres along the ground into our F50. It led to a crucial goal by Garner.

Think she has been named as an emergency at least for the last couple of weeks, so she mustn't be far away, but how about a debut for our other Irish recruit Blaithin Bogue, reckon it would be good for both her and the team in the final home and away game, toughest decision would be who misses out.
