I like that North v Port supporters' ratio NorthBoi96 and I hope it's true. My guess as to the attendance:

North v Port: 19,647 (16,500 Roos' fans.........I hope I'm waaaaaaaay short though)

Yeah, don't count on a lot of Port fans...Sunday arvo on a normal weekend kills off most travelling prospects.

23 550

For some reason it always turn out to be more than it looks at the Dome. Eg. last week - as if that was 27 000?

Still, get everyone you know down to the game so we can pump up this crowd figure!!

Up the Roos

Nah, Adelaide cup long weekend, quite a few of us will be coming over!

Sunday afternoon games in the past have NOT been popular amongst North supporters. Our record Home & Away attendance against Port Adelaide in Melbourne was a very low 16,429 set back in 1999 although our other matches have either been at Princes Park, SCG or Manuka. I feel we should break this record easily ( we bloody well better ) & being at the Telstra Dome might also get a few more people in the gate.

My tip 20,028

Just another thing, this game for all North supporters against matches in Canberra is a good reason to turn up because in my view if we don't get 20,000 for a must win game like this against an interstate side we have had a huge wood on over the years we then deserve to play games like this in Canberra.

Im taking my entire family and friends, were taking a 48 seat bus to the ground, some people have neer been to the footy before, so hopefully i can convert them into NMFC members.

Ill say 24,354, because home games against lesser drawing sides (port adelaide) are rare, therefore you can secure better seats, if you havent already got reserved seating for the season.

How stupid was this, against Brisbane our home game we had to sit on level 3 with a small sort of crowd then when we played St Kilda their home game we could sit near the Cheersquad level one with a larger crowd.

I love Jess Sinclair #9

Kinda makes you wonder why this game is at the Dome, and the Footscray game was at Manuka.

The Manuka game might have had a bigger crowd with a top 4 opponent, and not a club that finished last and is a relic of the suburban era of VFL footy (not that that's a bad thing about the club itself). Port supporters travelling to Melbourne are in the minority, and would be almost as likely to do the Canberra trip. Besides which, we have played Port there before, which might get THEm some fans up there as well. I don't care who the paying fans support, if it's our home game and we get the money.

The Dome game would have got more bums on seats if the two closest local clubs (North & Footscray) played.

geographically, isnt Telstra Dome on the Border between
North Melbourne and Footscray????

Dang. We need to get 20 - 22,000 people at these games or else it is too much of a loss to the club. We can get 18,000 to a Freo game, why not 20,000 to a Port one

At least we were vocal...great venue in terms of small crowds being able to create an atmosphere :)
