We are not as good as Carlton and Hawthorn, so we should be content with 3 goal losses to both in the last frkn qtrs.

Senior players today are Goldy, Ziebell & McMahon.

About a minute to go...Ziebell just throws himself at the ball, basically killed himself..some players need to take a leaf out of his book.

Wells needed to lower his eyes, last couple of weeks has probably blown his AA chances because of some solid performances from other midfielders.

Another good performance against a top 4 team, not Collingwood/Geelong, but against Carlton/Hawthorn/West Coast this year we have lost by about 40 points. If we get within a total 40 points of Collingwood/Geelong games next year I will be super happy.

Yes and Geelong actually lost to essendon. Some teams just match up well against others. Not to say too much about the conditions which were condusive to a close contest. Don't worry you will get your chance to barrack for them when 2 plays 3

Swallow was absolutely crap today to put it nicely, Harvey was terrible Wells quiet as well....we had this game once we got ahead at the end there, do we even look for players when we decide to "helicopter" aka Simpson at all? So pissed off with this performance from the roos, maybe the club doesn't like to use the "Shinboner spirit" line nowadays, we showed a bit near the end but like usual this season whereas we should of won 3-4 close games we blew it YET again!

Well we are sitting 3rd at the moment and can still lose a game and finish 3rd with our percentage. Given we have only lost to collingwood and geelong this year after the first round loss to adelaide i think thats a fair enough assumption

When the young blokes in the team like Ziebell, Cunnington, Harper, Atley, Tarrant get full pre-seasons (and even when blokes like Richardson and Pederson get a lot more experience)
We'll be able to run out games a lot better, and will just generally be smarter with the way we play.

Ziebell is all class. Without him today out midfield would have been shat all over but he really stood up put his body on the line , made those desperation tackles. I was super impressed with him today, may have not had high numbers but he did all the team things
Which is what we lacked from guys like Swallow , Wells and Harvey.

Have some impressive years ahead of you in my opinion. Strong on ball division, with a bit more experience and polish you will be a very, very good side.

Besides the Collingwood game we have been playing some competitive footy against some good sides. Just gotta tidy it up.

Hawthorn are top 4 and will give the finals a good shake they have outright superstars so even though this loss has left a bad taste have to take something positive out of it.

We should write off our season with the losses to Brisbane Richmond and Sydney. Throw in West Coast for good measure.

Cant start seasons so poor always going to kill a middle of the table side.
