North Younger with Less Experience

We had our experienced players come back this week, we're severely lacking in the middle tier of players in the problem, as you can see in the 50-149 game mark.
When it happens, we'll be in our well inside our Premiership window. The players very well aware of this and thats why they're going nowhere.........we have no problems keeping this group together, and as long Scott sells his philosophy on football, we'll go a long way in the not too distant future.

The Bulldogs recruited Akermanis and Hall, effectively robbing at least 2 developing players of game time which would have them in the 50 - 150 games bracket now. You make your bed and you lay in it.
And swapped vital picks for them - you make you your bed

Overall this is a very very tiny part of the current problem.

Facts are we completely fluffed a few drafts in a row. From the 2006 crop we have zero players left on our list. From the 2007 draft we have one player... Jarrod Grant who's about to be delisted. 2009 is also looking like a total bust (Howard, Tutt). The blokes from these drafts are now coming in to a nice age and experience level and we've got SFA of them. 2008 was ok when we took a few talls (Roughead, Jones).

That's why we don't have any players coming through in that age/experience bracket. It's not because we never gave the kids a chance, it's because they were all spuds and our only 2 standout players from that crop were taken by the expansion sides.

It was poor recruiting that got us into this predicament. Nothing else.
