Yeah it’s on video.

Play starts around half back on High St side of ground. While running away from a defender takes a bounce. Bounces again. Burns off a committed defender. Bounces another two. Kicks outside fifty. Ball dribbles in for goal. Inspirational stuff. I thought that effort along with a not to be snap at goal from Stinga may have been the turning point for ours. But it wasn’t to be.

If anyone has this footage, any chance of it going on youtube?

Well you committee down at the bulls need to take a long hard look at yourselves.Speaking to Vinnie a few weeks back he mentioned this would happen.Too many wanting the glory and not willing to put in the hard yards.Fancy making a coach who has got the club into 3 grand final appearances and final series every other year whilst in charge, reapply for the top job.Obviously too scared to tell the big V in person so we'll just reappoint somebody else instead of telling him to his face.Still a wanted man down at Bundoora but other commitments will make it hard for him to get back.As for Ray well who knows what was said or done but walking out on the club is ordinary at best. All this speculation and innuendo on the forum at the moment is pathetic with many having so much to say with little insight to what has really taken place.Mr xfactor time for you to shout your big mouth or have it done for you.Seen your so good at reflecting past forum comments how about you read some of your sh?t put on here:thumbsdown:.
well thank god for vinnie being busy.dont blame fego for anything all he says is what others think and hide in the corners and bleet.the damge done by the v d will be felt for a long time.the whole of the structure of the bulls has to be built again. how many second tier payers went because of him, its not only the senior players that left.best thing is is to step forward if you want to all you big mouths and help the committee rebuild. it was the immediate past president who got up and said that anyone who leaves is a dog and sheesh , we all know how quick he left . if you want to go backwards get vinnie but there is more agin than for him.you have to go forward.good luck to whomever is going to coach .

Good second tier players will leave from any successful club to play regular ones footy in any other team, its not just the bulls where this happens/has happened. From all reports Vinnie was a fabulous coach and I think his record speaks for itself, finals appearances every year under him. If the bulls were to get him back, all though from what I read and hear about the way he was dealt with and kicked out I dont see it likely, but it would only be benefitial for a new look bulls outfit with some potentially outstanding young players to have a man with his credentials guiding the way. Good luck to who ever gets the position, however it will be one hell of a challenge and now the character of the bulls players will certainly be under scrutiny.

Happens at most clubs, second tier players leaving, but not all. Heidelberg manage to hold onto them. There reserves flag last year had six blokes who had won a flag in the seniors. And they are all still there again this year.

Vinnie whilst much maligned outside of Bundoora, certainly did a good job. How has he been going with Preston's 2's this year?

Any other major news or goings on in the Northern other than Bunnies dramas!????

I know some news partyguts...........This Saturday night you have the goods that keeps the party alive???? Scareface told me all about it[/quote]

Haha. The last time Scareface tried to keep the party going he ended up in a Fire Hose Reel cupboard. Wow.

Cha ching helps keep everyone happy, even in the magoos!

Just been trawling the NFL clearances and a couple stood out.

  1. Dale Nolan to Mayne QFL. Is this a short term thing a la Brett Jefferies earlier in the season?
  2. Scott McAuliffe to Hurstbridge. Would not normally have taken any notice except for his couple of minutes of madness in the magoos the other week.

Lofty will be back for the Mont game if that's what you're asking.

Before I continue I must say that up until now I have been totally supportive of the new (NFL) administration.

That is until tonight when I had a frank discussion with some junior people within our Club.

I, like most of you BF posters always buy the NFL Record each week and until it was pointed out to me tonight, totally overlooked or paid little regard to the fact that the junior section has disappeared from the publication.

Then, and I understand that you may all think that it is a biased view, I’ve been told that with the Metropolitan Junior Championship games scheduled to be played at Montmorency Juniors home ground this weekend, in its wisdom, the NFL have granted the catering rights to Lower Plenty FC (a senior body) when in the past it’s always been the junior body’s right.

I have two comments on this:

1. To the NFL executive it’s about time that you got your collective heads out of your rear ends and started to respect the importance of the junior competition and gain an appreciation to the efforts and achievements of Lew Hall and his supporters to junior football in the past. Regardless of the fact that they were under the DVFL banner is irrelevant.

2. Shame on Lower Plenty to take acceptance of the right to “host” these games this weekend when knowing full well that they did not have the right to.

Sadly, if the NFL do not look after the juniors, we will have a crap seniors comp. Eltham paid the price for many years for treating their juniors badly and seem to have seen the light. Reports are that the juniors presidents meeting is being held at Bundoora. Did not know Bundoora had juniors in the NFL. Either the NFL just have no idea or they do not give a damm.

Whoever gave Lower Plenty the rights to the junior rep games should be ashamed. Heard there was no food for the players and other leagues had tracksuits etc and NFL had nothing. Very poor start.

bestie and m.o.t.h. i went to lower today to watch a friends son play, who didnt get as much game time as i though he and all others should have. but thats another story.

yes agree that the nfl teams looked like a rag-tag outfit compared to the professional loooking opposition in the two games. would be interested to hear why the nfl administration didnt outfit the juniors when they did outfit the seniors on saturday. a bit of discrimination there. and if it was cost, why didnt the administration go out and find a sponsor?

as for lower taking the canteen rights, i spoke to knowledgeable lower people and they assurred me that they did offer the canteen rights to monty juniors when the league asked them to run the matches but the black-and-white juniors declined the offer. and a mother who works the canteen for monty juniors confirmed the offer.

well DINGDONG(better get the door)it seems a funny thing what is said sometimes on 'BF'and you think ah , well yeah, maybe it was like that and so it goes,....
Reality is, it wasn't.Spoke to those that know(stay tuned, we may have some new blood) the day was an ametuer attempt directed by an incompetant body-this day has been run for the last 15 years without problem, and on this day, NFL junior teams were like peasents, I won't bag NFL..... but theres a storm brewin, re there competance and handling of the junior league. This is something that needs to be addressed - our future junior, and senior league depends on it

Well boys it would seem it’s been a big week for all and sundry  The assassination of Julias Caesar comes to mind  People we haven’t heard from in a while also putting their ‘two bobs worth’ (dribble) in :D Yep! The NFL. More serious than matters of national security :p

NFL website list's Bull V Bloods (4v5) as match of the round ahead of Mont V Dogs (1V 3)

Interesting.

Looking forward to the Para rd clash - the likes of Caddy, Martello, Harvey. Big test for Mont.

Anyway - good luck to all.

Well now that J&B has raised his head you’re somewhat conspicuous by your absence yet again KA. I hope you’ve not had a hand in any of the skull duggery of recent BigFooty times . Or perhaps you’re simply plotting and scheming in anticipation of Round 14. Regardless, it’s your shout. Forget the dim sims :D

from what i have heard rob wight is not rated to highly as a coach
Great news for Paul King now he will get a regular game. From the outside looking in it looks as if Bundoora have some real issues I.E ageing list poor administration. Paul King was assistant coach in 06 and was striped of his title in 07 now he is the acting coach big turn around.
