The Nfl Is A Joke. 2 Players At My Club Have Been Elbowed In The Head In The Last 2 Weeks And Both Have Fractured Skulls, One In Particular Has Nerve Damage To The Face And It May Not Get Better (hes 24 And It Looks As If He Has Had A Stroke). My Club Didnt Get The Investagation Paper Work In By Tuesday 5pm. (6 Pm Tuesday Is Our Next Training And The Club Didnt Know The Extent Of The Injuries Until Then) So The Nfl Said Bad Luck. My Club Has Since Spoke To The Afl And If Still Nothing Has Happened It Think They Will Speak To Channel 9 And The Herald Sun.

And Yet Carey Goes To Games A Reprts Who He Wants When He Wants. They Are Trying To Be More Professional But Who Are They Kiding. Same Old Stuff Is Happening.

Thoughts Anyone

PS: ON BOTH OCCASIONS THE UMPIRE GAVE YELLOW CARDS
You only captialise the first word in each sentence, its very annoying to read other wise.

Well your wish didn’t come true, according to umpires website, umpire o’keefe will be at Bundoora vs Eltham this week. I guess at least you will be happy that he is not at Lalor. However proves my point that just because a few fans thinks an umpire is crap (as seen through their one eye) good umpires will continue to umpire in ‘A’ Grade.
i think there is a need to stop the ump talking on here
your responses on here only inflame a situation that perhaps has been diffused
if you are who i think you are then you need to grow up & move on,
to continually berate the players, then you open yourself & others to receive unneccesary critisism.
we really need to focus on footy only & not all the decisions that might go for you /against you.
im starting to believe that ppl on here are only stirring the pot & waiting for someone to really bite or something more serious will occur when their true identity is revealed.
btw all the best for this round.
evryone has an ego, umps need to keep theirs in check & show it after the game rather than during it.

boof obviously no one from northcote impressed you last week for you to tip creek ... just on that from your viewing did anyone from northcote play well enogh for worthy of a mention ...

Na mate that’s not the case. My tips are purely based on demographic. As I’ve said I don’t rate other teams on how many points the boys put on them.

Two stand-outs (there are others) Jay Studd, 07-U19-B&F. Played in the Reserves. Always impresses me. In fact whenever I’m in the company of any of the Heidelberg power-brokers while watching I point the young fella out. Stephen Saddington is also a gun and a real solid team man. Like I said there are others.

The tactic of Northcote Park was to slow the Heidelberg forward momentum down by maintaining possession with short chip kicks. This type of game plan has been used effectively/ineffectively to varying degrees against the boys in the past. While this strategy may work against other teams it requires above average skills from all and sundry when playing Heidelberg and can be devastating if that’s not the case.

It’s not appropriate I comment too much on this, however, I can and will say our smalls are extremely fit extremely mobile. Probably worth two of most.

Regards

Devils Advocate - Agreed

tranquilli – Clearly your ‘reports’ and mine conflict. Whatever, it matters not now.

River/A&E – Be not too harsh. I’m confidant the ‘message’ has been received. Keep in mind the hardest thing to change in any organisation is its culture.

just back from interstate and noticed that not many have put their selections in for this round, so here are mine:
creek to win by 1 point only because its at hurstbridge
the bergs by so, so much and to again derail boros finals bid
the bunnies to get over a deflated panthers
the bulldogs over lakies with caddy the standout
mont to win a rare one over the bloods at sydney cresent

i know i'm stating the obvious, but it was a cold cold day at shelley st.
even first half then north ran away with it,as they have done last couple of weeks.i believe saul caddy may have kicked seven goals ten.
crowd pretty quiet till halfway through the last, when an almost all in brawl broke out.
daniel moore played first game since doing knee in last years prelim final.moved very well too.

Mase, i took the below rule from the NFL website. It's from their "by-laws".
Agree that these nasty incidents are happening too often still but clubs SHOULD BE aware of the requirements when requesting investigations.
I know my club has made sure in the past that we forward ourcomplaints by Sunday at the latest so there's no chance of missing out.
Hope the 2 kids are on the mend and back playing soon.

18.2 Lodgment of Complaints and Protests

The Complainant must lodge the Complaint with the office of the General Manager by no later than 4:00 pm on Tuesday following the date when the incident giving rise to the Complaint is alleged to have occurred. The Complainant should provide copies of all relevant documents and/or a detailed description of the event and circumstances within the knowledge of the Complainant that gives rise to the complaint. The Complainant may request the General Manager to deal with the Complaint in a certain manner
and the General Manager will give due accord to the request.

Likely match-ups this week boys? If you will? If you can?

Regards

there will be only one or two match ups of interest.

K.A will surely have both The Boof and A.E covered but May require some help to contain the dangerous and elusive FattySlim.

Brucey will be to preoccupied to trouble the can bar but may take out his frustration on the canteen instead.

RiverRat will be left unattended as the only threat he poses is to himself.

all in all, it should be a ripping contest. There might also be some good footy played on the day aswell.

just read the tribunal results
Reads a young fella from North u/17's got 150 weeks - is that a typo ?
150 weeks makes it roughly 9 years ?
Begs the question - what happened ?

It is a showcase of the now powerhouse of the NFL in Heidelberg vs the future powerhouse of the NFL in a very young but extremely talented Panther outfit. The retirement of Ryan Bongetti will certantly hurt the young cubs in terms of experience and a good player, but it gives another young fella the chance to step up and have a crack now. All the best to Bongo though in what ever he decides to do next year.

Have to agree there, and you would think the opposition is irrelevant when it comes to Heidelberg as they are worthy of match of the round every week. Especially with the likes of Finn, Hall and both Williams' running around.

What the ?

Bongo retired or retired hurt??

He would only be in his early to mid 20s at the most and so it is very suprising to hear the Rrrrrrr . Rrrrrr word.

It would appear as though all those years of him wearing make up have really taken their toll.
