I hope not cause he is so overated and i hope Eltham wakes up and plays some better players from there 2nds.

Yeah he'll be playing. He goes pretty well Damian. Mayb you should speak to Jacko in person if you feel his football abilities are not up to standard. The fact that he has slayed alot more women than you could hold him in higher regard to get a spot on the field ahead of duds like youself.

Football 'thugs' banned from coast pub

THE Torquay Hotel has banned football groups in the wake of Saturday night's wild brawl.
The Melbourne-based clubs involved in the fray between 20 players have not come forward to apologise for the behaviour, which required 15 police and the use of capsicum spray to break up the drunken fight.
Hotelier Rick Munday said he was outraged by the violence and said pub staff had worked hard during summer to prevent alcohol-fuelled trouble.
He blamed the weekend events on a football culture, which he said encouraged irresponsibility.
Hotel manager Andrew Routley yesterday described those involved as "thugs".
One of the clubs implicated in the brawl, Greensborough, could not be contacted yesterday.
A spokeswoman from the Northern Football League, which the club belongs to, said management would investigate, but would not comment further.
Players from Victorian Amateur Football Association club University Blues were also at the pub during the brawl, but club vice president Isobel Rogerson said none were involved.
"All players left immediately after the incident and caught the courtesy bus back to their accommodation," Ms Rogerson said.
She said the club would co-operate with any police inquiries.
The name of the third club has not been revealed.
All three clubs were in town for a training weekend.
Mr Routley said he was amazed the clubs had not sought to take responsibility for the players' outrageous behaviour, or that the clubs did not contact the pub in advance.
They have not contacted him since either.
"In contrast, we have a bucks night booked in next month and they have called to let us know they're coming and they've registered with the police," he said.
"Unless football clubs do the same thing, we will ban them outright.
"We are just going to take a zero-tolerance approach to football clubs pre and post season," he said.
Torquay Football Club, which is sponsored by the hotel, would not be affected by the ban.
Mr Routley said the footballers' behaviour was even more disgraceful after the hotel had a trouble-free summer, with no problems from schoolies or tourist crowds.
"We've worked so hard to get everything right with RSA (responsible serving of alcohol) but there was nothing we could have done to stop this," he said.
"This group of thugs just wanted to ruin the night for everyone."
The pub was forced to close after the 11.30pm incident and Mr Routley said he was further angered that no one had called the hotel to apologise.
"I had staff in the middle of this and I wasn't happy with how they were treated either to be honest," he said.
Six males, aged in their early 20s, were charged with unruly behaviour over the incident but Torquay Police Sergeant Brian McKiterick said no further charges would be laid unless he received new information.

Haha thugs.... I guess they would rather it turn out like Melbourne where the six males would just wait til they had a chance to jump one or two blokes and beat/stab/kick the living shit out of them.
You can't avoid the odd occasional all-in when you get that many drunk males together. As long as there are no serious injuries or floggings then let it be. Who can honestly say on here they haven't been on a few weekends away or footy trips and at least once sobered up the next day with a few sore knuckles, jaws and heads but laugh it off...
Im not condoning the fights but its always going to happen.

ah touche. I do see the issues with vandalism and police resources but I don't think it needs to be blown out of proportion like that article does. For years and years football sides and supporters have had pub fights and shit. Even AFL supporters used to do it, too many drainers wanting to make the world perfect.

Yeah! Good one. Past discretions justify behavior. And while we’re at it lets applaud the potential damage to the image of the NFL at a time while significant inroads are being made towards the opposite end of the pole.

Concentrate on Collinghoods year ahead and less on idol gossip and the garbage you spread.
You should be in for an interesting year with Maxwell at the helm and Goldy, Brown, Harry O and Presti once again watching the prune sail over there heads when Buddy slots through another major.
