bundoora won easily 6-7 goals, north didnt look like it all day. still thought the umpiring was pretty shit house, even with 3 of them. and does anyone no why shane harvey got sent off in the 3rd quarter?

because he only had 1 goal to his name at the stage...........:D jumper punch on michael mitchell out of fustration well beaten though!:thumbsu:

Rumour has it that the coin funding the bergs success might have redlined and may be heading elsewhere, wich would put a cat amongst the pigeons. Before all you heidelberg sheep blow a fuse check with your source as you'll find it's about to happen.........what a shame:eek:

Ah that old chestnut.

The Bulls looked up and about yesterday, could they be a smokey for the big one?

mmmmm enjoy this years success we all know the final outcome son,if the bulls get within 10 big ones that would be a good effort, got mont covered though I reckon, they'll struggle to post 10 majors with that forward line.

Hmmm - its the same foward line that has beaten bundoora twice

... It's the Runner (depending on who is selected) that I would think is their weakest link! :p

Kenoath. The word at the Berg after the GF was the runner, unbeknown to the coach, started dropping players back during the fourth. The rest is history. The coach was the fall guy. Please ... surely that bloke's not getting another gig :)

TRUE............However there not playing on a dinner plate come finals time though. Can't see why mont don't play stanley up forward seems a waste in the magoos, or is there more to it than his ability or form.Either way both Mont or Bundoora are destined for dissapointment but atleast they got there I suppose.Take heidelberg out of it and the finals would have created some more excitement.

Footy is a funny game and an upset is unlikely, but if u get there anything can happen. i think bundoora have the little men to go with heidelberg, but dont have the big men too cover all the tall fire power. id rather see heidelberg win then mont though.

The Mont fowardline is not at all that suspect.

only had one goal but gave mitchell a bath anyways. mitchell bet him 2-3 times out of about 15 times it was kicked to harvs

Not a north supporter or usually an umpire knocker but that was one of the worst umpiring displays I have seen in the NFL for a long time. The free kick/50 mtr penalty count in the 3rd qtr must have favoured Bundoora at abot 15 to 5. Didn't let up until the main culprit injured himself & had to come off and then it settled down. Most disappointing thing was that O'Keefe the most senior of the 3 seemed happy to position himeself down at the non-scoring end & do nothing for most of the game.

mitchell destroyed harvey, harvey got most of his posessions 60 metres or further out, which bundoora was rapt with. unless he is one on one with his opponent harvey gets frustrated which was shown by his undisciplined act. the umpires were bad both ways and had influence on the game. bundoora cruised to victory and took the foot of the pedal in the last 10 where north made the scoreboard look a bit more respectable

You can't possibly say that the umpires were bad both ways, even the Bulls bench was laughing at some stages. In the crutial third quarter the free kicks were overwhelmingly to Bundoora, who I agree were already on top in the game, but the two young umpires both payed everything to the Bulls when it really mattered. Harvey wasn't Norths worst but it certainly wasn't his best game and Norfs certainly look to him too much but when the next option is an average second ruckman or that dud Scanell what can you expect.

Umpires were shocking, north were worse. Mitchell did a good job, but thats all. harvey's yellow was just a push in the chest and a oscar award winning acting performance which the umpire saw, blew in his pants then paid the free kick. Mont wont beat heidelberg, Bundoora wont beat mont, mont wont beat heidelberg. end of story

hit the nail on the head!

Exactly right. the sad thing is that last bit was obvious at the start of the season. Divy 1 is so boring at the moment. Can't see much even changing in a years time.

Lets all just get along to the Prelim and Forget the granny. That way everyone can have a mad monday next week.

PS Get serious Harvey got a bath.

Will be interesting to see if Under 19 kid Hobbs can sneak into Heidelberg side...Had a taste during the year I believe...I think he kicked 4 goals in last round in Reserves as U19's didn't play and was in the 19's best in their 1st semi loss...Don't know anything about the kid,but must be a chance? In saying that, who's spot does he take???

Whale45 - a good question. Doubt if he will break back into the side unless the selectors believe that they need more quick legs around the packs with windy Preston Cricket Ground likely to have the ball on teh ground more than usual. The boy learned his initial football skills at Mill Park before moving to Whittlesea (family moved) and then was on the Knights list before ending up at Heidelberg. Can play!
Is there likely to be any other changes to the Round 18 team ?
