Div 1 A G/F Bundoora v Heidelberg / West Preston-Lakeside - Sat Sept 24
F: Nathan Lessels, Steve Williams, Andrew O'Neill
Emerg: Luke Richardson
B: Brendan Canty, Jeff Miller, Lawrence Coop
G: Matt Lafite, Craig Herman

Sunday 18 September
Summary Min 12Max 21Sunny.
Melbourne area Sunny. Winds west to southwesterly averaging up to 25 km/h tending easterly to 15 km/h during the evening. Afternoon bay side seabreezes to 20 km/h.

Have fun on Sundy lads. Good luck to the bundy boys in the two early games and let's see if Heidelberg go down without a whimper which would be a shame after being the leader of the pack for so long.

Amazing how one can be blinded by the immediate rather than the bigger picture: like forgetting how the pre-season and all season long premiership favourites in Bundoora were overlooked in their semi against Heidelberg because of some late season indifferent form. But don't think we will make the same mistake again this week as West Preston look to make a successive grand final in the top division. The Roosters have been devastating in their two finals so far and last week's effort by the Tigers, although out of character from their recent games has certainly put them on the back foot for the prelim final. The Roosters to win comfortably.

Preliminary Final.

Seniors.
Heidelberg vs. West Preston

Reserves
Bundoora vs. Northcote Park

Under 19s.
Northcote Park vs. Bundoora

Inmaterial who wins the PF, Bundoora are finally going to win a Flag,.
Indeed - engrave the Cup and Express Post it to Yulong asap. Those left are playing for second.
The great spirit from the River Rat clan the Snakewhisperer confirmed it to me in a dream last night. This is the last campaign for the mighty Tigers. Older warriors will be traded and younger ones blooded for the inevitable slide into the lower divisions.
Seven consecutive grand finals for five premierships. The catalyst for exposing the corruption in the DVFL and the subsequent genesis of the NFL. Not a bad legacy :thumbsu:

Great to see the Bundoora scribes at war, interesting to see what they have to say when they win next week.

Bundoora won the early games at Cramer St today, fair effort having all 3 sides in the GF.

Not a fair effort..... a great effort.

Reckon they are good for 1 and even 2 but the thirds will be tricky against a pretty dominate Slime outfit.

Damn I hope the weather is OK so they are all good matches.

17 and mostly sunny is the early forecast Madam Crane. CANNOT WAIT!!

Well done to all at the Bull Pen on getting the 3 teams through to the last game.

And a big well done to Stinga Harvey on turning the season around for the Berg. "Nothing more tigerish than a bloody tiger"

Bring on 24/9

All quiet on the western front, nice striped shirt and trendy shoes feenix, actually saw Bun's ex Maylin there today.

Hope the bunnies dont get startled in the spotlight. This could be the beginning of bad dream. The seed has been planted again. Will the bunny boys do it for there outgoing coach sending him off with a pat on the back or knife out the spine.good luck to all hope the tiges can back from some serious injuries.

Can't believe the Bergs run of injuries is gunna continue right up to the last game of the year.... There list is starting to look like Freos......

Fair effort to get through to the dance.....

Hopefully the Irish man can get some luck and it isn't broken...... dam the last ten minutes of games.... always seem to produce and injury or two.....

Anybody confirm if Lalor football club was the winner of Epping Football Clubs $10000 draw yesterday?

oh ok, how many premierships have elthem won? :D

Obviously you didn't win many spelling championships either, what a shame it will be when Heidelberg gets pumped this week by Bundoora....two GF losses in a row... and thousands of Bundy supporters compared to 90?? of The Tigers

Thats correct mate. Think the draw was about a month ago. There was a bit of banter on the div 2 thread from the Lalor prez.

and what fun us 90 have had.its better to be hated than pitied. hmmm 8 grand finals in a row aint bad.i thought the big question of the week was is " MEESE PLAYING". DONT THINK SO. its never over til its over.

$15 entry, plus $100 parking fine at the market, drink Boags Dogs Wiss - (hot beer usually as well), watch a game where each team only scores at 1 end on a notoriously windy ground, pour money into a club that keeps lying to the best young kids in the NFL that they are the vehicle for them to be drafted, ha ha ha - (who was the last player drafted from the nfl to the afl via the Bullants?) this week or stay home, watch the AFL prelim and drink a dozen VB's. Pretty easy decision. Why doesnt the NFL put the attendances to finals on the NFL website, they give out tickets and know obviously straight after the game the number that paid to enter, perhaps a bit embaressed on how few go compared to only a few years ago at Epping, when they had stands around the ground and big attendances to every final. Bring the finals back home to the best ground - $10 Entry - Big Crowds, Each Club gets a setup area, and bring the game back to our people!

Couldn't agree more Hangon:thumbsu::thumbsu:. $4 for a hotdog and $4 for a pie.watch a game where each team only scores at 1 end on a notoriously windy ground WHAT A JOKE. bRING THE nfl back to Epping Heidelberg or Eltham

Not to mention, 2 showers with cold water & 1 dunny with no door in the away rooms. Just not good enough. NFL have no real affiliation with VFL, bring the finals back to actual NFL venues and make it a big deal again - think EFL with the match ball being dropped by CH9 helicopter on ground before the game...
