Stude, the Demons went into the last 1/4 down by 3 goals, then got absolutely flogged in the final quarter. They do look the goods mate, should be cracker of a game next week for you guys, on their home turf.

Good start by him. Played on-ball, hard at it and pushed forward a kicked a couple. Might play well with $$ in his pocket so hopefully his mate's old man can keep kicking home winners on a Friday night.

It was a good game till the last quarter,a very physical game.Hobbs played very well,so did another new comer deards,Dyson and Volpe were good and Evan his usual dominating self!...I predicted Whittlesea by 10 goals,probably shouldnt have blown out too 100 points.,Snowdon,tolly,and Fairchild were quiet.
Some of Mernda's new hopefulls didnt quite deliver!,And throwing them in your best doesnt hide anything! Sage was pretty good,Douglas was good in the backline and aqualina was good around the grounds,not to sure about the bloke with the tats?

I think they can. From what I saw, the young kids of Watsonia really stood up while the "better" players were fairly quiet. If both sides of the fence can come together then I'm sure they can put on a show against Lower.

Lionel Proctor 1 week for striking, i witnessed the incident all it was, was a little forearm push to the Lower Plenty player, who droped to the ground for a free kick... The Lower Plenty player told the NFL that he wasnt hit and they still give the weeks suspension? Rediculous!... Good on the Lower Plenty player for being honest though.

Thomastown were competative last week and should beat Mernda
The big ground shouldn't worry Diamond Creek as they keep Fitzroy All Stars winless.
I don't think Lower Plenty have beaten Watsonia for a couple of seasons but that should all change this week.
The match-of-the-day looks like being a ripper. Pity it isn't being broadcast, but then it is all about Division One football in the league. Anyhow I think Whittlesea will get the points in a very close game from Epping.

It's the grand final rematch in the top division, surely a logical decision. I'm sure when Diamond Creek and Whittlesea play each other it would be the broadcast match, maybe they might even do the Parkside v Hurstbridge rematch in lowly divvy 3.

Not a very nice day at the Showgrounds today.
Seems the Magoo's Coach has had enough and has pulled the pin.
Then we started like a train kicking the first 4 goals then ran out off steam, and finish 40 odd points down.
Then after the game we stepped back into the 80's for good old fashion spray from the Coach. Not happy is a huge understatement.
The boys have been put on notice, ALL except one MUST be at Port Melb at 10am or they will NEVER play footy for him again.

From my veiw of the game four things that beat us today, were Numbers 19, 20 & 33 just to tall for us and our disposal by FOOT again let us down.

All is not lost just work on the kicking and things will get better.
PS : hope they can swim
