Re: Northern Football League U19's

Boy's just jumped on, have a question to ask you guy's, wouldn't you wont to play footy at the highest level you can.

Re: Northern Football League U19's

Well I have a question for you. If you had spent the last 5 years playing with the same bunch of mates (I went to school with alot of them and played with them at epping) and you had one last year together knowing that its the last year you will all play together and you can give the premiership a good shake then why would you pass that opportunity up to play seniors when you have the rest of your life to play seniors? Its not like its playing up into the AFL and knocking them back.

Re: Northern Football League U19's

As far as im concerned the Eltham u/19's really showed the West u/19's up. There were no excuses both sides had 18 a peice and it was a good hitout.Eltham were just to good on the day.

No excuses Eltham were the better side on the day. But the fact remains West had atleast 6 first team players out that day. Lost the game in the last quarter.

Should be an entertaining game come Rd 16 and lets hope that West take on Eltham come finals time also... And dont count out Greensy. :thumbsu:

Well said Moose. Not saying that I'd would not pass the chance to play in the seniors. But I'd much rather play all of my u19 years then move up.

Sorry Boy's, Can't agree, as I have said before you should won't to play at the highest level you can.
If you have good mates they will help you & try and get to the next level with you.
Your club can only be successful if the senior side is winning.

Yeah but footy is all about fun, which tends to be playing with your mates. I can understand not wanting to play seniors until the end of 19's.:)

Re: Northern Football League U19's

if u get sked to play seniors...u play...it means the club thinks that by you playing seniors its the best thing for the team to win..

the coach picks the best team to win a game of football...!

Snorta: Footy is about injoying the game, (Q)When you are trying to play senior level will, your mates be around to help you or asking you to play back with them? wouldn't that be selfish?? I also feel to better your club you all should aim to put pressure on the players above.

Thats fair enough, u both make good points. I was just taking the other side when u r a junior; i remember when i was in juniors it would have been good to play more juniors than i did. But i can understand from the club view also.

deffa has been a very good pick up for the roosters this year, the only critc i have for him is the young fella's a bone, his very short and extreamly skinny, if he dosnt hit the weights soon his career might end at under 19's level, in saying that very clever forward!
