Unfortunately the AFL controls finals and wouldn't let us play it the last 60 seconds before the game on the PA and big screens, but would let us play it maybe before we ran on. But nothing would stop the crowd from bursting into full singing voice after the national anthem and as the players are moving into place.

And what would or could they do IF we did play the song??

Would we cop a fine??

Probably. Just have to make sure they don't get into the control room before that last 2 minutes or so.

Heard a clip of rudimental with port running out on nova this morning. I didnt have the pleasure of attending the game but that clip alone sent shivers through me. If anyone has a clip of this pls post it.

The club nailed it with both songs at both points before the game, awesome.

Difference is that NTUA actually means something to PAFC fans, we get why the song has been chosen. We have been to hell and back, experienced things that no other club should have to. Been told to die, told we are irrelevant, told we will be rebranded and relocated. We never gave up and those arseholes Never tore us apart. But **** me did they try!

Rowe with his cows ambassador hat on likes it because he thinks it would make a nice song to sing to.

I just assumed everyone has heard that song at least 1000 times over the past 10 years, its been everywhere. either way its pretty simple and would only take people about 5 listens to pick it up.

That's why I posted put it up over the next few games and then take it down for the first Saturday night game against the hawks. Teach people for a few games and then make them work a bit to remember it.

if there were lyrics on the screens, i probably wouldn't sing out of principle. just seems really poxy and forced.

let it evolve on its own. if the fans want to sing it, they'll start doing it. it might just start with people shouting the last line.

the way the club has gone about it so far is right. if they wanted to force it onto everyone, they would have held a chant night.
