It's a trash rule. Ball going to land in, stick a foot out and it's a penalty

Keep it away from the sideline if you don't want that happening. It's consistent with every other "out" in the game - any part of the body grounded over the line means the ball is out. No difference here.

You’re silly enough to kick it that close to the line, you deserve what you get.

Melbourne are ragged, did well to keep within a try. Unless they can get some sets together they are cooked.
Storms game is based on possession and field position.
They’re not winning either atm.

If you touch the ball over the line when you have it, you give it up. But catch the ball with a foot out and you receive a penalty... that's the exact opposite of consistent

Penrith just attack on the 5th tackle. Stuff just kicking it.
Storm not throwing it around at all.
So many good little blokes and it’s one pass and hit up the middle.

It’s the same with the in goal catch being 7 tackle set, can catch it inside the field of play but foot in goal and you get a 7 tackle set.

No, it's quite consistent. But I guess you only found out about the rule 10 minutes ago, so perhaps go have a think about it before commenting.

Phil Gould summing it up well, the Panthers are in punishment mode and the Storm are in survival mode.

They need to turn that around the other way but that is easier said than done, the Panthers are relentless.

If the Storm can win this from here Bellamy is an even better coach than I thought and he is a great coach.

Panthers look menacing in the 1st half.

Harry Grant's try was a special; kept low and burrowed over; seen him do that plenty of times even though I only watch irregularly.

Storm miss big Nelson Asofa-Solomona; such a force of nature.
He's usually only good for 15 minutes of genuine brutality and mayhem, but they are invariably a very entertaining part of any Storm game. He'd have been very handy tonight to say the least.
