Just when the AFL have an opportunity to grow the sport they cut down the biggest tree.

NRL are laughing at us.
the sniper got what he deserved

should have got 3 weeks for being a coward.

I have been a loyal aussie rules supporter for more than 15 years, during this time I have watched the sport get softer and softer. But for me, this is the final nail in the coffin. From now on, I refuse to watch AFL on TV, support an AFL club or go to any AFL games. out.

Oh well! There goes our competition.

This thread is hilarious, it’s like the blind leading the blind. What part don’t people understand?
“Hall throwing the punch” and / or “Hall making contact”
If Cloke and Rocca went before him, so should Baz!!

What next? Hall gets off and everyone accuses the tribunal of inconsistency.

You come here looking for logic? ;) :)

Yeah, "there goes our competition". The whole of Vic, SA, Qld, Tas, NT and the WA are going to cross to Rugby because of one punch. Yeah, okay.

Who gives a ******** about Sydney anyway. The bunch of queers up there can continue to follow their second-rate sport.

You've been brainwashed. Cast your mind back to when footy was footy, not friggin netball.

Just another example of interstate teams expecting a special deal.

Punching someone who is not expecting it is not footy. It's a cowardly act. Cowardly acts are admired in handball (rugby). However AFL is a game for sports lovers. Fat teenagers who bay for blood but would cry like little babies should the same thing be done to them, should stick to watching handball.

Skills > thuggery. Which is why AFL is thriving and handball is going nowhere.

Liability didn't exist back them and neither did the Dockers. "Progress" wether you like it or not, will steam roll ahead.

FWIW I think the game has gone soft.

The game is a joke.

I think that one was in play.
Cowardly hits behind play have always been ilegal in football.
The game is not soft. Players are bigger, stronger and faster than ever befor.
Go back to watching rugby if you think cowardly acts should be part of professional sport. But don't bullsh... on about the game becomming soft, because you make it obvious that you have no idea at all what you are talking about.

Hope none of your kids break a fingernail today. That would be devastating.
