See you Boxing Day at the Aussie, the only time my glass will be down is for a refillI’m getting pretty peeved with your attitude. What’s the flaming point if you don’t have a forecast beyond two years? Crezz builds foundations, do Corowa have the smarts to finish the build? Not with short sited minds like yours. You want to have a chat, I’ll be by the bar, glass down.

one gets injured and one goes down back, garthwaite was drafted as a full back, don't see any problems hereGood luck trying to squeeze Pitt, Garthwaite, J.Conlan, Walker & Heiner-Hennessy into the same 50
Sam wasn't in the picture when Cresswell came to Rovers. They've got 24 months to find his replacement, and everyone was saying the exact same thing when the same swag of recruits joined Rovers. Now look where they are. You need good players and good people to attract even better players and people.Spot on. Who is Corowa’s Sam Murray? What’s the succession look like? Recruiting Wangaratta players to top up the reserves had me chuckling.
Relatively certain that the two in question are both starting apprenticeships in Benalla and requested to be allowed to sign there to reduce the need to leave early to make trainings. I would say maintaining a positive relationship with players who have done right by your club in the hope they return when the time is right is good management and the sign of a strong culture.Keen to hear our resident gospel speaker, king geofferys thoughts on a few star rovers under 18s signing with benalla in the GV,
I thought rovers were all about home grown talent, seems odd to let some of the better ones walk
They’re returning back to their home club aren’t they? The locals will love it!Keen to hear our resident gospel speaker, king geofferys thoughts on a few star rovers under 18s signing with benalla in the GV,

“Star” is tossed around irresponsibly these days. One wouldn’t get close to a senior gig, and the other knew he wasn’t cementing his spot in Samuels selected 21. My tip, learn to fight if you’re on the streets of Benalla, it’s worse than Detroit after dark. I won’t cycle unarmed after 5pm.Keen to hear our resident gospel speaker, king geofferys thoughts on a few star rovers under 18s signing with benalla in the GV,

Had heard a whisper over the drip tray that there is talk of Cressa offering Cody Schutt the captaincy. A good leader, but surely that wouldn’t be a popular move amongst the C/R faithful. Who was captain this year? Got to go to one of the local young guns doesn’t it. SurelyThere’s a bloke involved at Corowa who gets his jollies when Rovers have a player depart, grow up. Sam touched on spots being tight, and that’s a great problem to have, one that real footballers revel in.
Joe Hansen has been the captain for the last few years. Stuck fat when the club was at its worst, but is now seeing the fruits of the hard work. He could have taken the easy way out and stayed at Lavington after the recess, but didn't. Good player and an even better bloke. Would hate for that to be true, would definitely cause some anger among some of the loyal Corowa folk.Had heard a whisper over the drip tray that there is talk of Cressa offering Cody Schutt the captaincy. How many have been signed from South Cairns from last year? (Another announced this morning)Joe Hansen has been the captain for the last few years. It'll be a similar set up to how cairns ran this year top liners only playing 8-14 games each rotating on availability and who they are up against in that week and then just picking their best side with available points when the time comes, which is wild to think why any local fringe player would be going across knowing they arent in their best 21 come the end of the season no matter if they are in the best on paper. Will they have enough points?
19 recruits is insane.darryns captains have been peer voted in the past

Just saw that is five from South Cairns. Is he ruthless, or a club wrecker? Whatever story was spun for his contract release to SC was uttter rubbish, as he was openly telling people here he was coaching Corowa from halfway through the season. So if he is in your corner, you like him, if not your opinion would differ. All he left SC was his son, can he play? Will they have enough points?
Also left them with a Premiership Cup didn’t he?Just saw that is five from South Cairns. Is he ruthless, or a club wrecker? That he did. Signed a two year deal, left after one and has taken 5 players with him. Playing the devils advocate- I wouldn’t be overly happyAlso left them with a Premiership Cup didn’t he?
He helped get Boston to coach, south Cairns still have plenty of good players, ones gone to koondrook, but a lot of guys who play up there are ex Vic SA guys, who stay a couple of years enjoy the weather and come back. That he did. He writes the contracts. You’ll find if Cairns had of fell short he’d still be there. Corowa win it this year, he’s riding off in the sunset. If there’s even a murmur of a player or staffer disgruntled they’ll be out the door quicker than Wangaratta handed back the cup.Just saw that is five from South Cairns.
