Whew- US got away with one there- but the big one is coming up- Russia v Canada- listening to the Team 990 out of Montreal, and they are really giving some fantastic coverage- I remember seeing Tretiak and co 30 years ago in Ottawa- awesome stuff.

He's been Jonas Hiller this tournament. Bullshit, lucky and brilliant mixed with absolutely pathetic. He's easily the new Martin Gerber.

lol. Yeah cause Bryzgalov would have stopped that open net for Getzlaf :p The only goal Nabby is at fault for is the Morrow one, but even still - the defending on that.. wait.. what defending?

and that was a key save to make to keep them in it, you'd be bouncing off the walls with joy and laughter if that was Hiller but it is just a side note for Nabakov. :D

Of course, cause I dislike Hiller and Nabby is my goaltender. I facepalmed at how he let that in. It wasn't good, but hardly to blame completely when you just look at the defending on that goal. Morrow allowed to pick it up off the boards and walk to the front of the net.

Definitely, but it was the perfect shot. Inches about the pad, wide of the arm and at 100mph. Perfect placement at high speed.

Best thing is Nabby usually bounces back better from these type of things. Great for our run through the playoffs.
