After looking at recent WJHC results for Finland, I'd be worried if I were them. Slovakia has probably jumped them into 5th best team, especially with it being the last olympics of a fair few. The only good area for Finnish juniors seems to be Goaltending with guys like Rinne and Rask.

Poor Slovakia, they had Canada's measure in the third. Massive kudos to them, they've had a great Olympics, and deserve a Bronze.

Wow, a finish worthy of gold medal game..

If demitra lifts that slightly higher we go to OT.

Canada need to get Bergeron off the ice, he was terrible on the draws and didnt offer enough in that last period to merit time in the gold medal game..

Luongo let in a softy to get the slovaks going, but comes up big in the last minute.

The Morrow-Getzlaf-Perry line was Canada's best line tonight they have got going after a coaching rev up..

even though i was cheering on the underdog slovaks, im extremely happy canada got up, USA V Canada final will be epic.

i think its a 4.00am start on Monday morning...all nighter?? i think so. :thumbsu:

yeh got it mixed up, all the times ive been looking at for the games have been east cost time, so yesterday the canada game was 9.30 their time, so i tokk the 9 hours off that, forgot the pacific time difference..

7.00am is more reasonable

Its harsh for me, 6:45 start and Everton v Tottenham is on at 11:30pm-1:30am tonight.

Villa are at 1:30am and then I have to go to work at 6:30am and miss the Canada v US game. I won't see it until 5pm when I get home.:mad:

Finns looking better today, then again, couldn't look worse than they did yesterday.
