Why was last saloon given the boot? Too many comps already at the back end of the year?

I know Hot Streak replaced it but I'm not sure of the reasons why that LCS was chosen to make way.
I think peterbuch74 is keeping track of a LCS What if.

That's where Hot Streak has the advantage, as far as keeping people interested goes.

At this point of the season ALL 84 AE members are still in with a shot at winning Hot Streak if results go their way. LCS, on the other hand, only would have 16 people remaining at this point of the season.

Agreed. I feel like a lot of people simply didn't understand what Hot Streak was for the longest time.

Why cancel a comp where 84 competitors still have a CHANCE to WIN instead of less than 50% of the field??

C'mon GeeCats07 …. stop pussy footing around and give AmericanCrow something to to get nervous about.. the AE has already paid out ONE BROWNS fan (twice!!), do we need another and btw.. NO RAIDER fan has represented them at the end of season PENNANT PARADE.

The LCS is a ND spin off with 'no second chances' meaning interest wanes late in the season once you're knocked out.

Broken's idea last year 'HOT STREAK' has plenty of merit…

* It's more challenging
* Keep the interest going for everyone all season long not half a season
* As stand alone comp = gives options of double dipping
* JeffDunne has set up a great spreadsheet - easy to read - follow meaning less work.
* It gave me a chance to add some AC/Dc to this years AE promo…
