Re: Perrie has told the WA clubs he wants to come home.

If Fergus Watt were to play next year, Perrie would have to be dropped wouldnt he, you cant have 5 tall forwards?

Re: Perrie has told the WA clubs he wants to come home.

This is what I'd do... Perrie+2nd round draft pick for Butler.
If we're very desperate to get Butler i wouldn't mind giving our 1st round pick instead of the 2nd round!

You're nuts.

Butler is not worth Perrie + 2nd rounder.

Re: Perrie has told the WA clubs he wants to come home.

We NEED to sign Ian or Fergus - we can not afford to lose them both. That would be a dire situation.

Re: Perrie has told the WA clubs he wants to come home.

Is this true?

If so, I lay the blame sqaurely at the supporters who kept on bagging him. He's been a good player and has not deserved the treatment some supporters have given him.

How can a automatic 22 player who is a KPP be compared with a midfielder who can't make the West Coast side????

P.S If Adam Hunter isnt a KPP you need to watch more footy, he is taller then Perrie for cryin out loud and one of the best kicks in our team, if you think Perrie is better then Hunter you need to open your eyes.

Ian Perrie is 191cm and 95 Kilos

Adam Hunter (according to your own website) is 190cm and 81 Kilos.

You're right, I sure do need to learn more about my footy

Judging by your opinions on Pez I think you need to watch a lot more footy than just your Eagles games.

I honestly believe that should we head down the WC way then it'll be Perrie for Butler

Cheers

That was my point. Perrie is worth more than Butler. So to give up Perrie and a 2nd round pick for him is ridicilous.

Surely, you're joking. Why would Butler be a high priority anyway??

Maybe the other way around

IMO he's not - Waters is the priority

Spot on WW

Butler is of little interest IMO - brings nothing special to the table.

As for talk of Medhurst ......pffffft.

The most unlikley player that Craig would consider - represents everything that Craig would not like a player.

Spot on which also discounts any thoughts on Fevola

Butler is a "vanilla" player - we CAN develop the knights and Van Berlos - in other words develop our own.

Re: Perrie has told the WA clubs he wants to come home.

Beau Waters is probably the most highly-rated youngster on our list.

He'll walk into our best 22 next year and is exactly the kind of player we need.

We need him way more than Perrie, who, at 26, wouldn't give us the same kind of long-term service we expect Waters to provide.

Schammer would be worth going after, but gather he is still contracted?

Yep I agree Schammer would be worth the chase - Midfielder though for a KPP - nt as if we are flush with talls.

What about Polak for Perrie??

Wouldn't go for Polak. Apparently he has "lifestyle" issues.

We better stay clear of that.

I'm not sure I would do a straight swap Perrie for Waters. Swapping a kpp in the top 10 for contested marks for a mostly unproven 19 year old with OP doesn't sound like a great deal.
