Who is Perries manager? Colin Young Kerrs manager is in Adelaide...is Young Perries manager?

Dont quote me but I think Young is situated in Perth and is Kerr and Perrie's manager (among others). I think me might Adam Gilchrist's manager aswell (BTW...Gilly lives 4 houses up from mine...and I'm proud :D)

(PS...I might be thinking of the wrong guy).

EDIT: Who is Waters and Butler's manager?

I might be wrong here but I think it could be Max Stevens :confused:

EDIT: Its definetly Elite Sports Properties SA which is a sports agency Max Stevens works for. They both have Adelaide based agents.

Wouldn't go for Polak. Apparently he has "lifestyle" issues.

We better stay clear of that.
Yeah, I wouldn't go after Polak either.

I'm not sure I would do a straight swap Perrie for Waters. Swapping a kpp in the top 10 for contested marks for a mostly unproven 19 year old with OP doesn't sound like a great deal.
I would seriously consider Waters, but I doubt the Weagles will let him go (like last year when Stinger went home).

So would I, but i'm not sure I would call a straight swap between him and Perrie a good deal for us.

Re: Perrie has told the WA clubs he wants to come home.

Well I know for a fact that Beau Waters is over any home sickness he felt last year and is happy at the Eagles and wants to stay there so I think we can rule him out.

The only way we could of get Waters involved in a Perrie trade was as if he was homesick, this is not the case and the Eagles are hardly going to trade Waters, if he played for the Dockers we might have a shot though.

Yep I agree Schammer would be worth the chase - Midfielder though for a KPP - nt as if we are flush with talls.

What about Polak for Perrie??

Because in your signature block you have Ladhams listed 2nd for delist behind Smith.

Craig has shown with Ladhams that talent alone won't get you a game. Polak would require a big turnaround just to be considered for selection. Age wise and talent wise you would trade Perrie for him in a second, but unless he changes his attitude and lifestyle he would be a SANFL player with us.

So pass.

I saw a fair bit of him this year and his performances were ordinary. He went nowhere as a player in 2005.

Would 3-way trade cut it?

Given recent news, would the following have any legs?
Daniel Motlop to Adelaide;
Ian Perrie to West Coast;
Daniel Kerr to Kangaroos;

Would seem that WC lose the most, but are desperate for key forwards. Perhaps even more so if the Swans win on Sat?

Thoughts?

I think that if there was any remote chance that WCE would entertain trading Kerr (which I doubt unless he punches the captain again), then we would be CRAZY to ontrade to the Roos for Motlop.

Kerr is in a different league to both the other two blokes. I would love to see him at the Crows.

Re: Would 3-way trade cut it?

West coast are getting ripped off big time :cool: Kerr finished 2nd in the brownlow dude... If they accept that offer that would be the biggest joke EVER in trading history :eek:

OK...I will be kind and simply say it wont happen.

Sub Kerr for a first round pick and its looking better IMO.

What he said.

If there is even a sniff of Kerr being on the trade table, Adelaide would look at it.

Kerr is a gun and Perrie and Motlop put together wouldn't be enough for WC to trade their gun midfielder who is still 22.

Re: Would 3-way trade cut it?

Why does everyone think Kerr is trade material. WCE has shown throught out trade history they dont go seeking trades, the current list has what 3 people on it that played at other clubs. WCE will not trade away proven players, they will develop their own.

Of course players outside the regualr playing group of 25-27 players may be traded but you will find most times they trade these for draft picks, not other players. e.g. Morrison, Ball, Chambers etc etc

Agreed. Polhack just lacks intensity when he plays. A bit like Thurstans.

They are much smarter than that.
I dont think Perrie would be in their immediate plans, Freo yes.

if they win the GF i dont think they'll go for perrie. If they dont they'll look for their weaknesses and perrie will be an option.

Kerr wont be going no where even before last night

Re: Would 3-way trade cut it?

Why would WC trade Kerr and end up with Perrie? :eek: Look, I love Ian and the way he goes about it...but he isn't anywhere near the Kerr level.

In the damn unlikely event that the Weagles were so keen for Perrie that they were willing to trade Kerr, I would do a straight swap rather than taking Motlop. Not going to happen though!
