I'd suggest if White was given the oppurtunities he's been given he'd have a far better career than Watson has to date.

(a) I'm not a Tasmanian, mate; (b) this thread has nothing to do with anyone being defended to the death - if you looked closely, you'd see it's actually based on the opposite principle.
Bottom line and moral of the story: you're basically as clueless as ever.

Watson has his uses, but he is being mis-used.
If he's in the side, he needs to be in there as a M Clarke type role.
He isn't a 10 over bowler, he needs to be in there as a batsman who can bowl 3-5 to make up the fifth bowler.
But he isn't a fifth bowler by himself.
I wish we'd get over this stupid ********ing desire to play an all-rounder.
Either play 4 quicks or 3 quicks & hogg, and have Symonds/Clarke type players bowl the other ten.
