Assumptions only:
a. If Garlick got sacked, it's terrible timing and it may have been forced upon the admin to do so.
b. If Garlick walked, something pretty poor must have gone down for him to move on after recently having been endorsed with a further contract.
Whichever way, there seems to have been an impasse of sorts, whether philosophical or otherwise. Doesn't seem great from the outside.
