Afternoon lads, just had a call from coach of Yarraville FC. They've just lost a scheduled praccy match this weekend due to floods north of Shepp, but with Bus and accomodation booked at Yarrawonga they're desperately keen to still try and get a run somewhere on the way up. Whether a club could whip up 20 blokes for Saturday at short notice or maybe even offer them your ground perhaps I know they'd be appreciative.

Call Dave on 0413515705 today if interested.

Were you blokes playing tungamah?? Don't think you will have much luck getting a game the amount of rain down here is crazy

I think they were, not my club I just fielded a call this arvo and trying to help.

whos our flag contenders for 2012 lads?

From the looks of things so far pretty even up the top I reckon. Whorouly and king valley to improve same with Greta. Tarra and milawa a bit unknown same with benalla. Moyhu should be up there. Boon doon could surprise a few depending on who plays.

A bit of shameless self promotion here, even if it is off topic!

If you're a Sydney Swans or North Melbourne supporter disappointed that there is no coverage of the NAB Cup game in Sydney tomorrow night, here's some good news. The match will be broadcast live and exclusive on Alive FM 90.5 from 6.45pm to 9.45pm. Myself (Brendan Rhodes) and John Kehoe (thanks to MMM Sydney) will bring you the action. You should be able to pick up the stream at alive905.com.au, while the station has an iphone app, and the TuneIn Radio app can be used to pick it up on android phones.

The rider is it will be wet, and the commentary position is likely to be not far above ground level, but we'll still give you 120%.

I hear milawa may have finally landed at recruit!! Not a bad get if it's true.

One could say its just what the doctor ordered!!!

JB, I see Josh Nixon is on the move, that's a 50 goal hole, will that put more pressure on Westy or will Archibald slot into CHF .....
yeah Slim shame but totally understandable! Great bloke just a pity we never got to see the best of him! Injured and on one leg for most of the year, but its 50 goals we need to find. Having said that i think West, Leahy, Pascoe and Archibald will cause plenty of havoc.

BK, I see a few pretty good U18's heading in to town, has that been on all the time or a result of how the 3rd's comp panned out..??
Don't think it has anything to do with the new 3rds comp slim. These blokes have been training with the O&M clubs since before Christmas.

How will the numbers be for the combined teams? I heard that some sides will still struggle to field a team? Any truth?
