I see the border mail running an article regarding that the alburys and Wang's are in the same level as VFL footy, which too many may seem a far stretch. It is however worth remembering that the VFA rep team played the om back in 1975, where the om won by 10 goals, it just goes to show that country footy has dropped off since TaC cup, and the lure of jobs now in the vafa, where many guys don't come to the country to coach

don't know much about metro fball or how vermonts side stacks up, can't see any noticeable names in their list from a quick search, my main point was that the bottom sides of the vfl isn't that flash and the top sides from the top leagues in vic could probably compete with them.

Wouldn't mind seeing the best team of one comp play the best team of another comp. Eastern footy league very strong but If I were a betting man I'd go on the best vafa team over most.

Yep I see fly, metro leagues dropped their salaries to 100 grand after covid, I believe they were well higher than country leagues before covid, maybe that's why theirs been a high influx of talent into the league this year from metro based players

Every friday he goes over what can get fked, can be anything from covid, work, fball or world problems and he just stated the umpire to get fked cause he got let off suspension and can get fked for reporting him for nothing, obviously wasn't needed but umpires get told to fk off and much worse about 20 times a game, just the tribunial panel wanting a bit of look at me time and the umpire it directed at must have been bullied abit in school and got his feelings hurt.

He called the umpire a c**t on multiple occasions in the video, I agree in context of the video series there was no malice in it but sets a pretty poor precedent if you can abuse an umpire like that without consequence. He would get a much longer suspension if it was done one field

Border bubble is still there according to Andrews media release. It has been shrunk, He has excluded Wagga, Hay, Lockhart & Murrumbidgee councils.

Think that means play on, no spectators for Vic games but you can go to a nightclub haha

GF will be at Wangaratta due to superior netball facilities
Raiders have a coach from Canberra
Curtis done at Lavi
The other thing that needs to be acknowledged is that Albury are undefeated in all 3 grades of football. A pretty bloody good effort imo. (Mackie may be an inclusion again next year due to some very strict guidelines out at Osborne for the remainder of the year)

if there is no covid gf will be in lavi, they don't make that huge stand and boxes to go back to wang again, didn't think lavi netball facilities were to bad?

Albury and Wodonga players can cross the border like they could before. It’s just that Wagga players can’t come into VIC now
