I hedged my bets and ticked all of them.
Is Leppa > 3KZ at footbally things. - Yes
Is Leppa > 3KZ at selection of excellent tunes displayed over a period of time. - No
Is Leppa > 3KZ at his knowledge of the Ancient Roman Republic and the transition to the Principate? - Unsure.
On a point of order saying 'Ancient Roman Republic'? I would like to see a modern one.

I can speak with authority on this subject as I am, at the moment, reading Cicero's speech lambasting Antony. If anyone on this thread gets their nose out of joint by another poster/posting I insist that they read this speech. Cicero did not claim that Antony r*ped his own mother and father but about everything else was mentioned.

I can say that 3KZ has a greater knowledge of the fall of the Roman Republic than Leppa

But my thread is better!

Still a better achievement than most of the Australian Olympic swimming team!
Tell him he's dreaming!

Should have gone with me on the third option. History 1C (Ancient) was not wasted on me at Melbourne Uni.
Do not say Melbourne University. There is only one university in Melbourne. the others are, see if you can identify them
  • southern outreach of Kew Cottages
  • Where the more dangerous criminally insane were housed
  • where the escaped cattle from the Newmarket cattle yards found refugue

If West plays I will not be a member next year!!!!!!!!!

A part of me wants to see Merrett knock out Riewoldt and finish his career with a 10 game suspension.

Another part of me DOESNT want to see that.
Just can't see it happening. Merrett might go the big verbal spray but don't think he has enough anger nowadays to be bothered. Also, pretty sure opposition are going to show respect and not poke him enough to get him real het up.

Excuse the intrusion, Bulldogs fan, but will be at the game due to family allegiances to the Saints. Looking forward to seeing Merrett off. Always rated him...

Think about where the criminally insane were housed, right next to La Trobe. Friends of mine, becoming psychiatrists would spend quite a deal of time out there. Telling how was mad and dangerous and who was doing Arts at La Trobe took a nuanced hand.

Vic Uni is just across the Maribyrnong from the old Newmarket cattle yards. It was always hard for the teachers out at Footscray, as it was named in the old days, to tell the difference between the students and the cattle

The cattle from Derrinal Estate (my families property) where better bred, more intelligent and had much cleaner personal hygiene habits. One of Dad's mad steers jumped out of the Newmarket yards and made it across the River and became the best head of the Arts Facility Victoria ever had.

I had both Victoria University and La Trobe and changed them. Damn! Should have gone with my first choices.

Why would they name or play West?

We only have eight listed players available who didn't play firsts last week available. We need to name four (one to replace Paine, and +3 for the EIC).

Beasley & Evans are rookie-listed and are not currently upgraded. McGrath & McGuiness are not yet sufficiently match-ready for a full NEAFL match, let alone AFL. That leaves West, Jansen, Smith and Dawson - the four named "ins".

We have literally run out of players. Again :(

West won't be in the final team but we needed an emergency to make up the numbers.
