GWS trade Treloar and Hampton/Wilson for Adelaide 1st and Collingwood 2nd

Berg and Wilson for pick 11 - I'd take that.

That is definitely the sort of trade we should be pushing, but the pies would have to give their first pick instead of a 2nd, treloar is a great young player so 2 mid first rounders is about right for him.

I'd much rather keep scharenburg cause I know how good he will be but if the kid wants to go home what can you do.

I'd deal with giving up our 2nd and burgs for treloar. Still would give us a first round to maybe draft a key forward who can kick straight.

You guys are a lot easier to talk about trades the brisy that's for sure

Heavily depends on if we are also involved in a trade for Aish, and something can be worked out there in addition to Wilson.

If Carlton are into Kerridge, Id say we'd still stand a pretty decent chance to accommodate a trade for both too.

yeah, If we got yarran and aish it would greatly lessen the need for wilson, but we could probably make a case for getting all of them

There is a formula to calculate the worth of a free agent, and it doesn't look at their draft position. Once someone has been in the league for 3+ years, it is hardly relevant.

if you want to discount Scharenberg's draft position, he holds zero value, so you should cling to it.

Just pointing out the rediculous formula used to value The Berg under a previous posters view.

Under his idea, Petracca would now be worth pick 12 or 17 if he was drafted interstate.
His value even now post knee op would still be top 4 IMO.

Maybe, maybe not. Lever was likely to go top 5 in last years draft but did his knee and missed the season so ended up going 14.

Where do you feel he would he slot in to our team if we got him? Sounds like a bit of a jack of all trades player yeah?

I really don't understand players rated highly, tracked since U16's ......do an injury and drop down the rankings as if it's career changing ......see Selwood who dropped to pick 7

Then the opposite ....they track since U16's .....and then have 6 strong games in U18 championships and come up the rankings from no-where and often flop .....see Watts

Sounds like he wishes he could play with his best mate James Aish.

I would say getting Aish and Scharenberg has to be the priority before Yarran or anyone else. Pick 6 and 7 from the 2013 draft that we missed out on the first round in after missing out again in 2012. Would be excellent for our age profile going forward and we'd have two excellent players with composure and skills not to mention two good mates with no flight risk for a decade running around alongside Matty Crouch and Riley Knight from the same draft.

Obviously if Danger goes we have to match and go mental for Motlop as well. Need to weaken those bastards.
