Re: Caveat Emptor - Welcome to the lake of fire, happy fishing

I understand your stance on this matter, not easy watching your club continuously r*ped since '64

No no no no. He meant about the time some of the Collingwood lads went to town on a 16 year old. He wasn't making a correlation between premiership success and rape.

...Which is what you just did:eek:

Uh oh. Perpetuation of stereotypes!

I know exactly what he meant, it was just a comment about the obvious spiteful tone in his post.
By the way my comment was a lot closer to the truth than his.

So yeah. Perpetuation of stereotypes!

Re: Caveat Emptor - Welcome to the lake of fire, happy fishing

Would it be fair to say the Dees are trying to emulate St Kilda's boring, uninspired, flooding game plan minus the forward press?

..given their current situation, i think it's all they can do.. ..dee's do like to let other teams employ their fwd press cos dee's seem to like to reload off halfback.. ..you guys perfect the fwd press last year, and they barely lost and drew with you twice..

I don't think he was being spiteful. Do you really think he was? I thought it was pretty rational and succinct

Liked Jack Watts' game last night, especially that first quarter. Loved how he turned it into a game of kick to kick with the opposition. :thumbsu:
So you're saying Carlton players kicked it to him? Wow, Carlton must really rate him highly if they can't help but kick the ball to him in a game of "kick to kick". I think they are of the same mindset as us, they see the potential he has & want to be able to say one day: "I was privileged enough to kick the ball to Jack Watts, we weren't on the same team but I had to do it."

Yes, yes that's it.... It was a real showcase of skills, that first quarter. I think the old dark navy's were confused by the distinct lack of old dark navy's out there.

Is that the same thing as dancing with your sister?

Or maybe taking a slash in the shower?

Re: Caveat Emptor - Welcome to the lake of fire, happy fishing

Correct. Although brief, Brock McClown looked silly in his sky blue jimmy jams...

Not True. We are trying to emulate Collingwood’s premiership football minus the gang rape...

Does anyone think that illicit drugs damage the football brand in general? No, wait, even better; society?

Good to see some passion on this board.

Thought you'd all be booking ski trips...

If you liked that you should have paid more attention to the rest of the team :thumbsu:

Champagne comedy from some of the other boys

Wait wait wait wait. I can do this.

Ski. Snow. Powder. Coke. Cocaine. Sniffing cocaine off a hookers rack.

Trip. Tripping. Passing out. Being found by the cops in your car. (That one was a little easier)

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah you're alright man

More... More...

I don't really believe you are a Demons supporter, so much passion, charm & wit.

You were probably one of the few who voted against the merger.

I think it would be better for everyone involved if they changed the P in Punt Road Oval to the letter C.

...Cause of the traffic

Re: Caveat Emptor - Welcome to the lake of fire, happy fishing

This is going well , five pages in & the only ones to do any quality work are MFC supporters.

But I guess that's to be expected considering with whom we have delt with so far. ;)

One must test the temperature with one's toes, before leaping into the lake of fire, CA.

CA. Love your work, I really do. But maybe you'll wanna go back to the OP and check out any grammatical issues that might pop out. Specifically ones that are written in bold, are underlined and have a reddish font.

We don't want people to think we're idiots you know

Re: Caveat Emptor - Welcome to the lake of fire, happy fishing

That Russell Robertson... you guys must be immensely proud of him, yeah? I mean, his last year of footy was not at all selfish, he didn't just try to take mark of the year all game, not at all. Plus, he's such a good singer.

Clearly he can sing better than Albert Proud can rap
