Re: Veszpremi

In his desire to win the Supercoach competition BIGBEZ is shameless in providing dodgy info.

Hows your search for a league going BEZ.

haha, Im in the main league, I couldnt get a gig in youre 'inferior' leagues anyway, I was too late! The 50 grands all mine!

Re: Veszpremi

If you want value for money, Pyke is all the go, hes a great rover and very good on both sides, reads the play well, constantley gets 30+ posessions and he kicks goals from anywhere!....:thumbsu:
I'll go you one better than that. A man that is guaranteed to play 22 games (barring injury) this year, available as a forward for only $86k, should average 100+ easily. The one, the only Kyle Coney. Remember the name, he is your ticket to the $50,000. Don't waste him on the bench either, he will score too high for that, he demands a starting spot.

I stand corrected, Coney is almost unknown to oppo supporters, hence his value for money, the guys a gun! mabee we shouldnt let them know?

I do feel a little guilty announcing our secret weapon on a public forum. Maybe i should just PM "blblues" with this information since he was so kind to inquire about one of our players on our main forum, then delete it before the SC sharks get a hold of this information. If I don't Kevin Sheedy and the Herald Sun will be sending me an email by 9am tomorow morning with the "Hot SC Tip for '09"

I thought I was too late, didnt relise there was a dreamteam comp spot available, cool, 50 grand from supercoach and a Hilux from Dreamteam...:thumbsu:

I'm wondering about Daniel Currie. I keep hearing that he is injured, but for the second week in a row he hasn't been mentioned on Sydney's injury list. Is he actually injured, and if so, when is he expected to return? Cheers.

Jessie white:Will he play first round and will he be no2 ruckman for the year.
Do youn expect him to be in the team with Jolly or is it one or the other.

Would also like to know this, cheers!

The Swans ruck is the hardest thing to predict. Paul Roos do one of 2 things

1. He will go for 2 specialist ruckmen and if thats the case those 2 ruckmen will most likely be Jolly and Pyke

or

2. He will go for 1 specialist ruckman and 1 part time ruckman in which case Jolly will ruck and he will be assisted by either White or LRT.

I cant see Currie playing for the Swans for the first half of the season.

Hey guys haven't been on here for quite some time but was recently speaking to one of Cuz's (Currie) best mates and told me he's currently fully training but has been plagued by a persistent groin problem this pre season and will pretty much have to manage it throughout the year.
Therefore I'm assuming he isn't being considered for selection following very limited mins against Melbourne until he has enough solid training/conditioning under his belt.
Fingers crossed some solid reserves form will see him debuting early on but I'd say Rd.1 is out of the equation going by what I've heard.
He is a gun though and will prove a cheap DT steal if his body holds up, but obviously Sydney don't hand games out at will so he will have to work hard for a spot which no doubt he probably he is at the moment.

Is Veszpremi likely to play 22 games this year? He's fairly expensive for a 2nd year player. Just wondering whether he's worth it? He'll be on the ground, not an emergency.

he's a handy player.i think maybe a bit to much i havent checkd the price for a while.but last i heard he was playing well in trail matches.so hoping he isnt injured he should see out alot of the season maybe not 22 but a few atleast
skill wise he's more then capable.it just depends on what roos wants to do with him..he got a few brownlow votes last year so that might of made his price a bit more.

i personaly think goodes is at a good price.and he should be at his best when his groan is in shape and thats soon.

Drummond is as well if he stays fit. How's his preseason form been?

ok.... as far performance goes

looked good physically and mentally

but he's seen little game time, been used sparingly off the bench.... so he's hard to tell for SC/DT purposes

maybe a little more risky than drummond, but probably will be more consistent

Re: Veszpremi

Sorry in advance if this has been recently asked,

hows Currie going? Is he or when will he be over his injury and do you still consider him your best 2nd ruck option?

the groin injury seems pretty persistent

probably won't be available at the start of the season

might come around later in the year though

You are saying white is a Part Time ruckman.
Is he a key position player who can ruck.
