Funny how the media were criticising us when we drafted Lynch then Taranto and Hopper of raiding other clubs. We have 7 players from other clubs. Blues 17, Saints 16 but crickets from the media.

Yeah, Richmond are "topping up" when we should be investing in the draft

LOL

in the non stand rule/dissent/4th umpire corruption era the blooze (or anyone else) would never win a flag with 17 players from other clubs on their list

but you watch the afl get them one like the pies last year through umpires and corruption

blooze already get sucked off as much as pies . harry mcrae and charlie free get gifted multiple goals a week while big sexy and jack got mauled and absolutely nothing from the cheats in plhegm

Suns,Blues and Bombers and of course Umpie pets Collingwood.
Richmond near bottom of the differential again.
CFL.

Alex Marcou rings a bell too.

I don't think Buckley was coach. Jesaulenko definitely was.

Coached as playing coach in 80-81 and then stayed on as non-playing coach in 82.
He went to the Saints as a player and then they sacked Mike Patterson after round two.
Remember it well, his first games as player coach was against us in round 3 of 1980 and we drew with them.
A bloke by the name of Dean Herbert, who'd played reserves with us previously booted five goals for the Saints in easily his best game for the club.
Jezza left Carlton when they sacked the president George Harris, who was his mate.
Long line of Blues who went to Carlton in the 80s - Jezza, 'Wow' Jones, Marcou, Sheldon, Kourkoumelis, Ian Muller, Ian Aitken, McConville, Peter Brown.

The Saints are a club that always provide entertainment. Bit like the Bombers, but they have the spice that it's more than just a joke, it's also justice for the Bumblers.

Blues might struggle now, Jack Silvagni has done his acl..

Poor campaigner
Not a top liner but a pretty good role player and seems a heart and soul type

Always feel bad when players cop acl injuries
