another wet paper bag that Jack will have to fight his way out of.Not good for him to do his ACL but his absence won't hamper the Blues. He is a very unremarkable footballer.
Yep in the Ron Harris eraAlex Marcou rings a bell too.
I don't think Buckley was coach. Jesaulenko definitely was.
Ran 0ut of underlings to Bend over the boardroom tableView attachment 1892322

Nice little kidney punch from his former AFL House colleagues. No one putting their name to it, though.

Any relation to George Harris?Yep in the Ron Harris era
Yer but they're good blokes so nothing to see here.I saw a snippet of the 89 gf Apperently that was the greatest gf ever , and it got me thinking what other club has gone out there with the intention of taking a bloke out? Scats in 89 , the good bloke Stewart taking out Prestia , the media whore Dangerfield taking out Vlastuin, gee the scats feature in a lot of them
That’s the one I had Ron Chopper Harris old Chelsea hard man on my mindAny relation to George Harris?
Probably just before my time. I started following the football over there in the late '70's, so I might have caught the tail end of his career. That’s the one I had Ron Chopper Harris old Chelsea hard man on my mind
I am biased but I think the intensity of the 2017 gf wasn’t much below the 89 gf. If Taylor Walker and Josh Jenkin had shown a bit of heart and kept the scores close I think it would be rated as one of the best gf’s of all time. The tiger players and most of the crow’s players showed amazing skill under enormous pressure. I laugh every time I hear Walker defend the crows post gf camp. In reality him and Jenkins are the only two who should have been compulsory attendeesI saw a snippet of the 89 gf Apperently that was the greatest gf ever , and it got me thinking what other club has gone out there with the intention of taking a bloke out? Betts, Cameron and Lever weren't much better.I laugh every time I hear Walker defend the crows post gf camp. In reality him and Jenkins are the only two who should have been compulsory attendees

Leeds have a long history of being dirty campaigners.Ron Harris (English footballer) - Wikipedia

was hard enough to play for Leeds if he had to
I think you are hard on Betts and Cameron. Pretty hard to crumb to your key forward’s when they are nowhere to be found. Did those two even play the first half. Maybe they were in the change rooms practicing their power stance for the medal presentation
we're not a destination club ? all the Bridge rd outlets folded years agoCheck out Blues and Saints.

just like Taylor Dane, 89 GF 's always been over rated imo,as much as i hate the bummers the '84GF was a better game & '85 bummers side sits 3rd behind our '74 , '80 sides as the strongest and toughest teams ive seen.2017 & '20 GF's better gamesI saw a snippet of the 89 gf Apperently that was the greatest gf ever , and it got me thinking what other club has gone out there with the intention of taking a bloke out? Yes. In that '89 Gf, yes it was high scoring and there were a few heavy hits, although not as many as it's made out by people who weren't even there (I was). Both teams backlines were taken apart, due to the fact that it was a free flowing game with barely any pressure applied to whoever had the ball. All of the most brutal hits (Yeates on Brereton, Hocking on Platten, Dipper on Hocking, Ablett on Dipper) were off the ball.just like Taylor Dane, 89 GF 's always been over rated imo,as much as i hate the bummers the '84GF was a better game & '85 bummers side sits 3rd behind our '74 , '80 sides as the strongest and toughest teams ive seen.2017 & '20 GF's better games
to watch as a nuetral than '89
I have never seen it but I think the 66 gf must rate up near the top. Firstly because Collingwood lost by a point and secondly it left North Melbourne as the only unsuccessful club. You can tolerate saints winning because you know it won’t happen oftenYes. It was still an enjoyable game, but not the best GF ever. Certainly not the best I've seen. 1984 and 2009 are probably the two best for me as a neutral.

Which one, '89? I reckon the last quarter in '84 was just as good.Wouldn't say it was the best GF ever either, but maybe the best last quarter in AFL/VFL GF history, along with the 77 draw and 66.
What the actual feck?
Avco Blues season over.
Weits & now Jack the Father-Son Spud out for season.
SOS will be relieved.
