Fair enough. Each to their own. Personally, when I see overly confident posts from Blues supporters on here, or gloating posts from other supporters when they're up and about, I just cringe.
Can't guarantee that it won't be me, but I hope I'm not like that and would be happy for others to pull me up on it should it eventuate.

I can honestly say I haven't gloated or been cocky for I can't remember how long, probably since the 99 prelim?? But if we challenge for a flag and jag one, Ill make up for lost time don't worry about that

Absolutely delusional.

But I love that for the rest of their supporters lives, they are going to be triggered whenever people ridicule their club for their drug use. They just want to be respected and they aren’t.

That's the best part; that post was from during the game, in the third/fourth term. The game wasn't even over.

You can sometimes almost taste that sinking feeling in the gut through the words that an opposition poster chooses to describe you, that gut deep sixth sense that just tells you you're going to lose this one.

That post just drips with that sense, bone deep, that he knew they were going to lose and didn't like it at all.

The thread is, in the main, more interested in having a laugh at the overreactions than they are at actively doing anything else (except for complaining about the frees in the first term, which TBF is a legitimate complaint).

But that one garnered agreement as opposed to laughter, which is why it stuck out to me.

A lot of complaining about the umpires. They weren't great, but it's just a practice match. There's more important things to focus on.
