Off the * board:

"I really wish we did more to recruit Hewett as he would have been perfect for our midfield".
It's amazing that they've needed a big bodied inside mid since Jobe retired and they still need one now after all this time, but Dodo is a god.

A Sydney supporter I know on here is adamant he’s a “spud”. He’s called him that a few times since he became a Carlton player. Who wants to tell him that Hewett has finished 2nd in Sydney’s B&F? 😂

Did the Essendon boys forget to invite him out for a latte?

:p

It’s a beautiful thing that Shiel enjoys lattes more than meeting Chris Judd.

Over the years, I've heard from Tiges supporters (after a round 1 game) "Richmond, living rent free inside Carlton's head for years now, hahahaha". "It's nice of the AFL to let us have a training run, while every other club has to play a match in round 1". Not to mention how loud & proud they sing the song, and rightly so.
Thursday night, we're singing loud & proud after the siren. Tiges supporters - "Settle down, it's only round 1". "OMG they get carried away when they have a win".
Every whinge they have at the G, or on social media, makes our victory so much sweeter. Thanks Tuggers, never change.

I think the most hilarious feature to many of the opposition views, 1) Us now being considered a top 8 side, 2) Losing side supporters completely downgrading their sides fortunes this year, off the back of ONE game

I‘ve had an opposition supporter have a dig at us that we are “up and about” after our Round 1 win. Well sorry for not being anything more than 1-0 after one round of football. 😂

LOLOLOLOL!! SOS the jumper holding, scragging, stool pigeon.

* board already.

Doggies could've won.

Unfortunately Carlton's luck in that game sets them up well due to the fact that they've got literally the easiest run of games ever.
But in all honesty, I'd rather keep playing the harder teams and learn from it than to beat the minnows and then get found out in the big times (like the Blues will).

Good luck with that.

Brilliant
