Here comes that word, if he stays fit he gives us another creative goal-scoring option for the opposition to cover. Can't say I've ever seen him take short steps or not commit and he has that bit of annoyance value that can unsettle opposition players and supporters.

I can't for a second imagine him getting booed by Port supporters. For what? He didn't cost anyone their place on the list and in the end we gave up for him in this draft what we were always only going to give up.

I think too often people get way too influenced by some of the concentrated thinking in here and extrapolate it out to the wider supporter base.

Also is this the new Macron kit or a shoop? Tidy collar, looks different to the main ISC one but similar to a v-neck training template they had. So yeah not sure either way.

I don't think we can rely on getting more picks for fringe players for good value, as the opposition would start to know we are reasonably desperate and don't have other options.

People have been whinging about this same thing for the last five years! Ever since gave picks away for Ryder, and in recent years giving away future picks. Last year posters were having apoplexies when we gave away our future first. etc etc

So far our recruiting, drafting & list management has been excellent. It has put us in a position to be minor premiers, play in a pre-lim, and to be one kick from a granny that IMO we would have won.

The club clearly targeted a small, skilful forward, and Fanta fitted the bill, esp seeing as he is an SA boy wanting to return. If we were a Melbourne club, we would have a wider choice, and maybe got someone like a Butler et-al a lot cheaper. But we got our man at slightly overs, having to deal directly with Satan himself ... so ostensibly, we did ok IMO. Yes I would have loved to get him for a bag of chips, but not to be.

We will add Jones, Schofield, and maybe even a smokie, setting us up for a great 2021.

he probably thinks **** essendon like the rest of aus. he has said multiple times already that leaving the stress of melbourne (and essendon) is good so

probably keen to leave it all behind, actually get something out of his career at a good club, he's been in party boy mode at a rabble but wanted out, don't blame him
