AFL here: - you should know by now that the first game is not Round 1 - it's the opening round. The second game is Round 1.

I hope that's clear - if not please ring our marketing department who will put you in touch with our customer service department who will arrange mentoring and a workshop if required.

They should have called it Ground Round to bring it in align with Australian building floor naming conventions.

I agree but St Blunda and North barely tip the Givea****-Meter in any circumstance. If a Collingwood player farts in an elevator there will be a public lynch mob forming in the media and on the streets within minutes.

I think you are correct it seemed more premeditated than SPP,these things do happen quickly but he was late and he jumped in the air to collect him. Because of the circumstances of this bump he should get longer than SPP,the Saints know he is going for a while because they were instantly into defence mode about him ie great character never done anything previous in his career.

What have they said about his family?, that is over the top btw he was the one who chose the action he did no one else. Jye Simpkin is another boy who seems to gets knocked around a bit too much.

I think he should get a bigger penalty than Powell Pepper because despite what SK say he did play the man and should be punished accordingly.

This incident is all they've been talking about on the radio all day. And it will go on all week. I'm expecting all the footy shows to talk about it non stop.

Do you know what I'm totally sick of though? oppo supporters & some commentators continually bringing up Maynard, which we know is not even remotely a similar incident...but also JDG high bump which did receive a 3 week suspension.

They're hardly mentioning Kozi's bump. And I've not heard one word about Nankervis', Mansell's, McAdams high bumps..& I'm sure there are at least half a dozen other high bumps from last year they could be referencing.

"Goodnight." When did that automatically mean - "suck shit you got knocked out you loser." It could just mean good night. Or "I'm out of here, I'm not listening to a whole heap of randoms on the internet savage my brother's character."

"Fair bump." A younger brother making a smart arse comment to people on the internet savaging his brother.

I can't see any of them having a go at Simpkin or belittling his injury. "good night is the only one which might be if she meant it the way that the media are portraying it. But I think it's more likely that theyweren't thinking of him at all and I think most of us would be thinking of our family rather than Simpkin if it was our family in his situation.

But let's name, shame and savage the ****ers.

Wondering if anyone else here has Legends membership with seating in the supporter bays on Level 2 /3 of the Southern Stand for home games. This membership came in a few years ago and you get access to the bay and can choose any seat. Was supposed to make the experience better. I got offered it one year when I renewed and has been good.

This year after paying up the club changed the set up and we now have to apply each game, a week or so out for a $0 seat allocation. You can no longer just sit anywhere in the bay but at the same time don't have a dedicated seat and have to reapply each game for a new seat even though we have already paid .If we forget we lose our access to a seat and admission to the game. Josh at the club tells me this will improve the overall experience in the emails we have been sending to each other.

This week went to apply for a seat for the Syd match 15 mins after they opened and could only get 3 seperate seats so we cant sit together. Club via Josh says this was a ticketek issue , they mucked up but the club cant resolve it once the tickets are allocated. I am not happy and have bought 3 extra tickets elsewhere in the ground so we can sit together.

Anyone else had similar problems

Club shouldn't be palming issues onto Ticketek. Members deal with and pay $$ to the club who should resolve this sh#te.

The club made the change. They should take ownership

Mate, I reckon this is a L take, They thought they could run their mouth about something they clearly aren't educated in, maybe a visit to the danny frawley centre is in order for them to get with it. One of the sisters even works for a club sponsor, probably for not much longer

I'd be bloody embarrassed if my family jumped on social media and tried to defend me after I did something utterly stupid.
