It's already happening with blokes going limp and letting themselves be put into the turf very easily.

Mooney & Dermie were discussing the other night how many of the players on the end of the bumps, in particular, were not bracing themselves anymore, maybe because they have the expectation that they are protected somewhat & players will avoid bumping them now. And they're unsure if they in fact, could end up being the one reported if the bump goes wrong. The Aish/Mansell one is a perfect example. If Mansell hit the ground instead of Aish, it would have been Aish reported. I saw it as just two players colliding.

With all the outrage going in, I thought the same thing and convinced myself the other way.

I guess someone got hurt, someone has to be responsible in the end.

if they are holding Sicily responsible could he be sued later if there are longer term issues on for failing his duty of care? I’d hate to see that.

Mick was past his use by date but that club can destroy any coach. It got to the point where his family wouldnt go to games or club functions because of all the backroom backstabbing and criticism of him. And he was only there 3 years. What a toxic shithole
