Calling this one early.
The 2025 grand final will be a replay of the 1925 decider, in which Geelong defeated Collingwood by 10 points to claim their first flag.

This time around, the Pies will overhaul a two goal deficit at three quarter time to win by 1 point with a kick after the siren.

And yes, I have started drinking.

Happy New Year

I’m at Barbarian Brewing in Kingsville. Only a ten minute walk from my house.

They do a decent IPA.

10 min walk to get there - that's ok

Please advise truthfully how long the stagger home takes - forget finding the front door key - if you manage to stagger onto the porch I'll regard that as being home safely

It’s getting to the point where it’s easier to list the former or current teammates of old speed ball head that haven’t belted him
58 police have been assigned to S (should have smoked them) M for New Year's Eve - police HQ have admitted this is high cost but they have justified this because it will significantly reduce risk to public health and safety on the entire Mornington Peninsula including several well known New Year's hot spots

I got four steamed dim sims from the fish shop on the way home. Took about 30 minutes to make it home.

Back on the porch now with a full esky.

Have a great new year. I've got Hawkers' Double West Coast IPA. At 9% I reckon I'll be in bed not long after the kids fireworks.

Jesus!
He's in deep shit.
At least its happening to other clubs - something like that wouldn't fit in with the family club mantra.

Imagine the uproar if it was someone from our club. Glad it’s not!

Hardest part of living in Sydney is that they don’t know WTF you’re talking about when you ask for steamed dim sims. Or potato cakes. Or adding vinegar to chips and salt.

The coffee?

It varies wildly.

There are coffee shops that do serve decent coffee. But unlike Melbourne they don’t need to do so to stay in business.

The best part about living in Sydney? Sydney doesn’t compare itself to anywhere else. The Melbourne - Sydney rivalry only exists in one direction.

Joel Cochran’s first interview was a good case study - he was asked by a journo how he felt moving from Sydney to Melbourne. He was utterly confused by the question - what is he supposed to say? No journo in Sydney would ever think to ask the question the other way around.
