The main problem with stupid rumours is the stupid people who believe them.
AFL policy is that on a second strike the player cops a 4 match ban and their name is made public.

I’m not sure I believe the rumours. Surely though, if the player were in some sort of rehab program he wouldn’t be named.

I just gave the afl policy that has been in place since around 2016 on making player names public. If you think the afl wouldn’t go with that protocol, then I can’t help you.
