I’m one. 1970 live at the G, and all that came with it.
Not sure I could watch a Collingwood vs C______ grand final in real time. The prospect of C______ W______ the F___ against anyone is revolting, but the revulsion goes exponential if forced to contemplate that happening against us.
In 2018, after that prick fluked his goal from the mark that should have been taken off him, I switched off the tv immediately to avoid the siren. I checked the score a few minutes later. On confirming the result I entered a self-imposed media ban. It helped — I’m less sensitive to reminders of that GF than I would have been otherwise.
Hence if we get to the GF and C______ is our opponent I am likely to spurn the real time watch and just check the score at the end. If/when we win it, IT’s REPLAY TIME !!!!

Haha, we sound like kindred spirits .. I've never seen what that putrid Sheed did to us in 2018, because I chose not to look at the time when I got that similar sick feeling in the pit of my stomach with a few minutes left...and I've never watched it since.

I really think I would not get through a GF playing Carlscum. Even the week leading up to it would have all the enjoyment sucked out of it, just by their presence.

The thought of it makes me nauseous.

Easier to make that decision when you're in front but Carlton were behind and despite the close range the pressure would still have been immense if he had of taken a set shot.

I can understand why in that moment instinct and adrenaline took over and he took the opportunity to goal immediately.

I reckon that goal just got in too.
