Ch 7 said that St Blunda are the complete package and will be hard to beat. Guess they forgot they lost last week 🫤

I hope they are hard for everyone else to beat, because they’ve already shown they are no threat to us.

We wiped them like a dirty arse with their negative crap and then had a little snooze when it should of been a 5-6 goal margin. At the G in a dry, fast paced game itll be light work

Haha, suck it, Carlton 😂

Blues seem to be all sizzle, no sausage. A handful of very good players, a bunch of also-rans, and a dodgy gameplan
…and a crazy coach.

So they don't count even though half the season has passed? I'd love to hear your version of Wade's injury report. Four or five blokes due back in a month or so, so overall things are great on the injury front!

The four points count in the first half of the season as well as the second half.

Yes, I’m looking forwards not backwards. Even if you look backwards you’ll see we have survived well enough so far with only one loss.

All teams get injuries. We have some issues with key position players but Kreuger is back this week (albeit missing some match practice so no honeymoon for his return) and Cox not far away. Murphy will hopefully only miss the compulsory week. It’s not that dire.

No, they don't. Brisbane have been at full strength from round one this season. That is why they hurt. Some teams are badly hit and others seem to escape the bad injuries to key players. Richmond had a great run in their period of domination and that is part of the reason why. We had a great injury free run in 2010 and look what happened.

And it's not just key position players-it's our entire ruck division. I don't know why you are trying to downplay a simple fact of life.

Just take Draper and Phillips out of the Essendon line up and the whole dynamic of their structure is completely turned upside down.

Well get them back though. Cox or Cameron is the pressing need. Keep hopefully banking wins to stay in the top 4 and unleash hell on the flogs with rested guys in September

So why aren’t Brisbane undefeated?

We’re only six rounds in. It’s a long season. At this stage all our players will be back in plenty of time for finals with Howe the only unknown. Stop sooking.

I know. But downplaying injuries also takes away the deep credit which is due when teams like us and the Saints perform well in spite of the injuries. That VFL win today was magnificent as was the Giants in round one against the Crows because both teams were undermanned and then lost players during the game.

And were winning with no ruckman, which in turn throws our backline all out. Id say we should be extremely positive about whats ahead
