Again, our list is almost identical to the one Buckley was coaching. No one wonders why we weren’t known as a quick, fit team back then?

Wade and McRae are why.

I’m sure the bits are mostly there. Just needs a better program around them I reckon.

In the end it’s ultimately a moot point. We should be wanting them to keep Voss as long as logistically possible. Much like I wanted them to hold onto Malthouse forever.

Fantastic list for contested 2005 footy. Just don't have the runners for the current game - to get the plus 1, apply the pressure to cause turnovers. hurt opposition as hard on the turnover, or get back to defend the turnover. Could easily turn that around in an off season, but they're supposedly targetting Ben McKay, I don't think they know what they're doing - so I do agree with you on the coaching, but it's left them with a current list that will be talked up due to everyone preferencing the contest winners, but it's not going to get them there until they pick up some better runners.
