Hope so but AFL love Geelong so they say nothing

Shows the Scumps love Geelong
AFL umpires need to spend some time being trained by cricket umpires. Stop guessing and blowing your whistle on the player's reaction - if you didn't see a push - it's play on regardless of how good an actor the player is. Warney would have got 3000 test wickets if umpires raised their finger every time he and Healy appealed convincingly.

The umpires are trained to “read” the players mind.
Shank a kick that bounces oob 40 metres down the line? “My powerful ESP has concluded this was your intention”…….
It’s utterly ruining the game.

I don't mind the way they're interpreting it. Whether it's a shank or intentionally straight out of bounds without anyone getting near it, its fair enough that it doesn't become a 50/50 throw in. Could just make it like the out on the full rule and take intention out of it.

It's terrible seeing a player get injured, but for me, it's even more so when you have a guy who finally get's his opportunity to play AFL as a 'mature' aged player and then he potentially does his ACL. Hopefully the diagnoses for Jack Hayes isn't that bad and he only misses a handful of games.

How far has Lachie Whitfield regressed as a player...

I hate Toby when he plays against us but when watching as a neutral observer I can see how important he is. I’d love him at Collingwood.

He'd be an absolute star in a team that kept their spacing and tried to get the ball to runners on the outside.
Yes, with space and time he was devastating in previous years. Fumbled alot tonight under a bit of heat, although he did suffer a serious internal injury last year i think. Still could be impacting.

Giants' ball use going forward was excruciating to watch. Slow, sideways movement-very much like us the last couple of years.
Yep. Like us under Bucks, they're so obsessed with winning the contested ball stats that noone stays outside the contest so when they win the contest there's noone to feed it to and it's just a hack forward.
