It's a two year contract, not a 1+1 one.
If he does another knee or has an absolute mare of a season I'd doubt he'd fulfill the 2nd year of it

Lulz, 2 years for both Otten and Shaw?
Seriously?
Not every project works, and they might have seen enough evidence over 11 months.Well so much for Wilson being a "project".
If he does another knee or has an absolute mare of a season I'd doubt he'd fulfill the 2nd year of it
Wait Shaw got a 2 contract as well? Jesus Christ wtf is wrong with our list managers?
So we'll just pay him out?

Only place that's been said is KE's head.
Sorry bros, I swear I read it somewhere, but I was checking on my phone, so maybe not.
My bad.
5AA reported Shaw has signed for another 2 years. Get excited.Sorry bros, I swear I read it somewhere, but I was checking on my phone, so maybe not.

Bicks & Rowey are running with it now, so I may have jumped the gun in "berating" you.
Actually its not, different list manager.2 years is more list mis-management. I like Otten but:
No one knows how Andy will come back and how he now fits in our team going forward.
No club would have been targeting him.
Should have been 1 year only.
Makes no sense. Dumb Dumb Dumb from the team that brought you 4 Year MacKay, 3 Year VB and 2 Year Reilly.
FFS. More sterling list management. Jobs for life.
We got Otten second round. Late 20s, 27/28 I think.Wasn't Otten like a pick 13 or something. Second in rising star.
Kind of odd reading all this vitriol for a player who, when fit, is easily in our best 22. Versatile and athletic, great reader of the game. It was a long time ago but finished 2nd in the Rising Star ahead of guys like Beams, Ward, Hill (and Danger and Tex). If he can get his body right, will be like a new recruit for us. Capable of playing anywhere, we don't really have anyone else like him.
Short memories.
I think that's Dangerfield's draft, yeah?Pick 27 at the 2007 draft
One year with a trigger (x games played) for Year 2 would have seemed the most obvious call.2 years is more list mis-management. I like Otten but:
