Thank **** for thatFor the last time.

Or back under a rockWell, my source better be right then. I’ll pipe down now
Bad news Friday good news MondayBeen plenty of rumours that the results of the review will be announced tomorrow.
That would be hot garbage. For the last time. Matthew Nicks will coach the AFC in 2020.
Rowie also said it will be announced any time of the week that ends in day
Thank fu** for that
Or back under a rock
I'm hearing press conference tomorrow. Not sure if related to coach, review or both.
According to Rowe, announcement Wednesday.
Wise man Mr MeargiI sense a little frustration in this board.
Never. Ill just never trust me source again.
I call bullshit.
Hypothetically it is announced next Wednesday, I doubt they have even appointed anyone or have a person set in stone.
That is still 6 days away. If they have appointed a senior coach today and drawn up a contract and expect it to stay a secret until next Wednesday, they have rocks in their head.
I would be expecting a 1 to 2 hour window between telling someone they have the job and announcing it. Stuff like this gets out very quickly and judging the past, the Adelaide Football Club want to control the narrative on every story and release information their way.
6 days is way too long to keep this appointment a secret. I strongly believe Steven Rowe isn’t correct on this case.
The club knows who the coach is.
Maybe but the person who will become the next coach doesn’t.
I'd suggest he does.
Because roo and co like to be ****in annoying. Why not just announce it?
Unlikely that there will be an announcement next Wednesday as its the final day of the trade period and the way things are going most of the crows trades will occur Tuesday and Wednesday. Any coach announcement would get lost.
Maybe announced Monday but using Chapman’s 14 days at the b&f and Reid’s 10 days on Monday may not be till next Thursday
Why not just announce it?
To annoy you!
But seriously, there are a lot of reasons. Obviously the findings of the review need to be announced before the coach does. Then there are other things to consider, such as the assistants or the rest of the football department. The coach may have been given time to put his own coaches together, or he may need to discuss this with people.
I'm in the minority but I'm totally fine with the process and the time it's taking. I'd basically lost faith in the club's operations but this is being done correctly.
Agree to disagree. I don’t think they have even appointed anyone and when they do, an announcement will be made right away.
I don't mean to be a d*ck, but that's not really how it works.
Last time we hired a coach, the club knew who their candidate was for ages before it was announced. I'm pretty sure one of the other applicants was even frustrated by this. Can't remember who exactly but somebody complained that it felt like their interview was a complete waste of time because Adelaide already had their man.Why don’t you tell me “how it really works”
