Don't think Pell would get near Moore! He likes to play as the loose man in defence & play off his opponent! He won't be the one doing it I say.
I see Milawa has named Kris Allen - if I'm not mistaken he was on crutches last Sunday?? And they haven't named Leigh Newton - playing funny buggers or think he wont play?
I reckon it's the right decision to play him, even if he's not right. Even if he doesn't kick a goal, he'll still be a big decoy. Just having him out there will mean that the Milawa defence will have to be aware of him and I'd say they'll give him a fair bit of attention. They haven't named Nick Coles either. Both have been injured and I'd say one of them will play since only 20 have been named.
Yes I saw that as well BK. Mick Newton was pretty adamant they'd both play in the paper the other day! I think they are playing with teams. I'd expect Newton & Coles to both play...big losses if they don't!
Will be a very, very interesting game tomorrow...
It sure will be interesting. I reckon Newton's hammy still isn't right and they won't risk him... Only time will tell though.

Geez i wouldn't mind u being my coach datto, i think most coaches would look down on players being seen in a pub let alone drinking pots the day b4 a final..

Moore was good - he towelled up Pell early on, kicked four goals (should have been five) before Milawa switched K Allan onto him in the second quarter. Kicked his fifth a couple minutes into the third and missed an easy one in the last, so could easily have finished with seven goals.
Laywood from glenrowan won the reserves he may of came a draw but not a 100% sure. Does anyone know which b and d teams are definetly in the ovens and king league next year have heard plenty of rumours that yarra valley dont want doon so that will mean that they will be coming in?
Lazer tied with Greta's Ash Woods in the twos and Chris Mangubat from Tarra won the Thirds. Amanda Norman-Smith from Tarra won the A grade B&F. I'm not sure of the other netty results.

You're right there rumble, I've played all of my Junior football and some Senior football (untill Beechworth left the O&K league) against Steven "Nutta" Nightingale.
He's tough, hard at the ball & a fair player on top of that. Well done Nutta

Nutta is a worthy winner. Absolutely killed us both times this year. Unanimously voted capt of the inter league side......
Turning our attention to this Sat, can Milawa out run Tarra on the big ground. Going to be a dry day I think so should be pearler of a game.

Viewing the results and not taking anything away from Nutta and Jono both extremely good and fair players and worthy of their respective awards.
Looking at some of our games and votes given ( not bright or KV ) I wonder whether the HAT WEARERS were at the same game.... I suppose all I can ask is " is it possible that when best players are discussed, that those concerned can confuse players ?" . Before we make the critic again no I'm not bashing just asking a question.
Got further confused over the weekend, saw a game in another league. One white hat and one black hat....Is there a ranking system by hat colour ????

Goorambat and tatong have advertised for coaches positions for 2010 in todays local paper. I was just wondering if anyone has heard whether they have been accepted if they have thats at least 4 clubs coming into the league next year whats everyones thoughts?they will nearly have to have a top 8 i would of thought if this happens.

It could be like karate. The far superior umpire was wearing the black cap!
I heard a couple of astonishing votes (or lack of) in a couple of games.
a) Brad Miller's 54 possession game - didn't recieve a vote.
b) Brendan Session's 10-goal game against Greta - didn't receive a vote.
His opponent for most of the day got 1!!!
Anyone be able to back that up, or hear of other weird/confusing votes?
