And it really sounds like your board doesn't want these B&DFL clubs. Do those (tough) rules apply for all the incumbent clubs as well?

I believe they should, it wouldn't be fair otherwise. I think there has been an average of at least one forfieted 2's game each each year for the last few years and that really hurts the opposing club financially, either through lower turnover or wasted travelling costs.

Yeah mate, there's a fair chance Fatty Barassi will be playing for the dogs this year (shit, are we still allowed to refer to ourselves as the dogs now that Bonnie Doon have claimed that name??) We have several other players travlling up from Melb so travel costs will be minimal.

Good luck to Tatong and the other BDFL clubs in getting through the season, hopefully it works out! Don't want to lose any other country clubs! Im still shattered that Wilby haven't one a flag since the 70s when Crackers Keenan was lurking around!

Just curious as the leaugue were proposing a 20 round comp if there were 13 sides in the o&k! If this were the case when would the first round be played, as, if they kept it how it is now and they just added 2 more rounds wouldn't that be afl grand final weekend? Hope that makes sense

All reports suggest that Tatong will have no's Datto.....not sure on G/bat and Swannie tho

S'pose we'll find out soon enough with the first of the KPIs in terms of players rego's due today. I also think there is a board meeting due very soon as well so I assume that will be on the agenda.

Wouldn't be good to see teams fold, but maybe the clubs need to swallow some pride and merge! Seems to be the only viable option unfortunatley. Wonder what will happen with the draw and if the league have a back up plan if any teams fold at the 11th hour
