great effort to see them hav a win... but to be honest wot hard work?? they played swanpool! bobcat u gota b joking right? theres another 15 games and they wil b playing alot better opposition then swanpool... i wonder if swansong wil hav anything 2 yap up about this week??

I think yesterdays results are great for the League and show that it is going to be a tough year for all clubs no matter where or who you play.

Found him on the GVFL thread having the audacity to bag Benalla Saints about their performances so far......0-3...sounds familiar....

bobcat they havnt worked hard at all.. they havnt resolved any of there problems on or off the field all they hav done is moved the crap they had from the B&D to the O&K... but great for them 2 get 4 points on the board, wil b interesting to see how long they last.

I would have to say they are looking better for the future than swanpool and goorambat..

Interested to hear people thoughts on Tatong this year? Have they recruited well enough to be stable in the league? Or will they suffer the same fate as their B&D counterparts and be down the bottom of the ladder?

My bottom 5 for now:

King Valley
Tatong
North Wang
Swanpool
Goorambat (who probably wont trouble the scorers win wise)

Well... we may all be a little off the mark with King Valley! Sitting pretty in second place, and they have the good fortune of playing Tatong, Swanpool & Goorambat twice. They'll comfortably make the eight.

BK, any truth the media ban has shifted across country from Milawa to Tarra after yesterday..

Although I was tempted to not post for a week just to get people talking, unfortunately that is not the case slim. We were awful on the weekend. You can't come off two decent performances against a couple of the top sides in the comp and then just expect it to happen against a side that is expected to be in the mid to lower range of the comp (I don't mean that in any disrespect to KV). We only played 20 minutes of OK football, but by then it was too late.

Full credit goes to King Valley though, just shows that they are always in with a chance at home.

MEMO for Swansong:
A) If the Benalla Saints played Swanpool, I think a few VCFL records might be broken - Highest winning margin (Benalla) and Highest score in a game (Benalla). Yes, Benalla aren't going so well, but the GV is one of the premier comps in Victoria.

and B) You might as well get all your trash talk done while you still have a side to barrack for, because if Swanpool dont pick up their act, they mightnt be around for much longer. Absolutely pathetic that you couldnt even match it with Tatong who were a fellow B&D battler.

All Blacks to beat Glenrowan by 60+ points in the ANZAC day blockbuster.

Nth Wang had a fair few of there better players out in the first couple of games and i would say they are getting a few of them back on the park going by they scores on the weekend, they should definatley get stronger from here on in...

have to agree with ya there Gameon, I think Blacks will be a top 3 side and will give glenrowan a touch up if they stick to current form. If Glenrowan play well they can take it right up to them though.
