Pretty talented list of players there. I thought Jarrod Gorupic might have been on the list, but pretty good all the same.

Was wondering how Brent Lillis is going at Raiders,I understand he is coaching the reserves and playing league?
If thats so, is he getting a kick? and can he coach?

Brent is doing a real good job with the ressies who I think are 3rd the ladder at present. He has played one senior game this year and with the exception of last weekend has been playing in the ressies. He has an astute footy brain and can still plays good football.

Great effort by the O& MFL to have 10 blokes named in the VCFL training squad announced yesterday on the VCFL Website. You would think at least half of them would get picked in the final side.

Probably being a little biased but I can't believe that Mark Doolan didn't at least make the squad.

148. Jarrod Gorupic (Wodonga Raiders) 3

As for Scott Oswald, different people see things different ways.
My list is compiled from the best players in The Border Mail. He has been named in the best three times.

Major stuff up on my part. I meant to say Mark Doolan.

Albury v Wodonga was shaping as a great game, but now with the Albury injury list they might be under the pump to kick a winning score? They will really miss young Dawson, has been a revelation this season.

Any thoughts?

Why did Steak Seymour brush the blokes from OAKFM after their loss yesterday?
I thought he was better than that.
Those blokes do a great job promoting footy and the interviews after the game are an excellent part of the coverage.
I doubt Bobby Craig ever brushed them after a loss.

just wondering where darc21 is and give us an update, winners are grinners buddy

Right here mate:) What would you like me to say? The Rovers are playing good footy atm and have shown with their win over Yarra that they aren't to be taken lightly. Won't say much else as I shot myself in the foot when I built the Hawks up pre season only for them to lose their first six or so, except that its good to see Matty Brown playing good footy in the ones. Has always had the potential to be a great player but has really taken the next step this year. One for opposition teams to watch out for!

Steak is a good bloke and usually has a lot of time for people. It was probably one of those situations where he wasn't in the mood to be discussing the loss until he had properly spoken to his players about it. As great a job as the OAKFM blokes do, they probably just caught Steak at a bad time. I'm sure Johnny McNamara would have been more than glad to do extra interview time in Steak's place! :)

It goes with the territory of being a coach, Darc.
He has fronted after wins all year and he fronted last week after the loss to the Magpies so why didn't he front on Sunday?
Let's hope he realises the error of his ways, apologies next time to the OAK boys when they cover a Yarra game because the last thing he needs is the media off side when they are going through a rough trot.

I WAS AT THE GAME ON SUNDAY AND THINGS DID NOT GO TO WELL
STEAK WOULD HAVE BEEN UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE AND SOMETIMES IT WOULD NOT HURT FOR THE MEDIA TO JUST BACK OFF FOR JUST A LITTLE, IT WAS NOT ONLY THE MEDIA ALSO NO SUPPORTERS WERE ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS UNTIL STEAK HAD SPOKEN TO THE PLAYERS.
THE COACHING STAFF AND THE PLAYERS NEED THEIR SPACE AND IT IS ONLY FOR A FEW MINUTES, DONT TRY AND INVENT SOME THING THAT IS NOT THERE.
BEWARE THE WOUNDED PIGEON:thumbsu:

i dont no how interested u guys are in 2nds footy but wodonga belted the undefeated albury tigers by 100 points on the weekend with 9 players in the team being eligble for thirds duties that week fair effort by the boys
