Two weeks for swearing at a Boundary umpire. Its abit sus when the Boundary umpire is from Corowa (Kade Kuschert's sister). She should not be able to umpire her own team. Two weeks is a little bit harsh i think.

That is absolute bull****. 2 weeks and the swearing was nt even directed at the umpire, if she handle that sort of language **** off and go shoe shopping.

What's going on at Myrtleford?
That is a really bad loss for them at this time of year, they should be starting to crank it up now?
Will they get B Murray and A Carey back after the bye?
Also noticed S Nightingale, M Murray and B McIntrye all playing reserves and named in best. They'd have to be in Myrt's best side by all reports?

A Carey will definitely be back after the bye and B Murray is also a good chance. B McIntyre will probably get the call up as the suspended T Purss was the back up ruckman. S Nightingale and M Murray would also both have to be very close to a recall however I doubt there will be five changes.

5 maybe 6

I have "heard" that there is 12-15 and they train with one of the GV teams that also has a large amount of travellers, can anyone confirm this or confirm the amount of travellers for yarra?

Could nt agree more freak. 2 weeks for language is disgusting. He must have flew right off? I was at the game and it was nt event noticed I got told at the pub that night. Anyone know what was said? I honestly believe as a O & M supporter, but living closer to Myrt than any other team they do get a raw deal. Not that umpires are ever byest though:confused:

If the umpire is Kade Kuscherts sister then that is a disgrace! Under no cicumstances should she be allowed to umpire Corowa! Its not her fault it is the responsibilty of the O&M and would make you very sus when Corowa receive several free kicks at centre bounces given by her when the game is up for grabs!!!!!

Spot on Jack. You have the league trying to appear professional in its severe punishment of a minor misdemeanour, but failing to operate professionally, being unable to carry out the simple task of allocating impartial umpires. T Purss has got the rough end of an O&M error.

Might have been some contentious decisions, but you can take nothing away from Corowa. They were very hard at it all day and deserved their win. Old Nickelback Ambrose decided to show up on Saturday and had another great day.

and why is it a disgrace POJ? isnt it logical for her to stay with her family? there is no problem with it, all umpires are neutral, there is never any thought of bias to any team. they were legitimate calls, were you even at the game? Purss got what he deserved, no one deserves what she was called, and with the numbers situation of umpires, abuse turns more and more ppl away!!

how the hell would you know whether it was directed at her or not? that language was uncalled for!! no one deserves to be called what she was called!! there is no room for this kind of behaviour anywhere on the football field!!

Yes i was at the game maclurem! That is a ridiculous statement that she should be with her family, if she or anyone else wants to umpire they should be allocated without preference(eg with her family). This job is hard enough without bringing family loyalty into it! As for neutral umpires that is a load of sh** just ask the umpires at the Myrt V Albury game that were heard saying i hope Albury can hang on at quarter time huddle!Guess who was in front at quarter time?

so you being at the game would realise that they were legitimate calls!! with umpire numbers the way they are, having her travel with corowa and being based in corowa is an invaluable asset to our umpiring ranks!! What job is hard?

why is neutral umpires a load of ****? so what if they said oh i hope albury can hang on, that doesnt mean they would favour albury!! i have followed albury all my life, and i always hope they win, but i have never thought of favouring them in any way shape or form, and that is the same perspective of every umpire!! none of us ever show bias to any team!!

interesting you can say that with obviously little or no knowledge on the club at all. A large number of players are locals and have played all their junior footy with the club; Craig Ednie, Luke Hammond, Tyler Bonat, Matt Grinter, Marc Lonergan, Dean Bigger, Xavier Leslie, Bernard Price, Ross Mulquiney... majority of the others live and work in the town e.g. Tim Hargreaves, Jason Wild, Dallas Gallagher, Matt Wollington, Nick O'Bryan, Paul Banch, Simon Rudd, Marcus McMillian... The only couple of names that come to mind with no real connection to the club are Lawrence Furlan and Rick James. 20 blokes from melbourne is a huge exageration don't you think?

You would be surprised how much I know.

If an umpire is NEUTRAL then they would not hope for any result as it wouldnt bother them!

being NEUTRAL means not showing any bias or favouritism towards any team!!

results dont bother us, we have our opinion on who we would like to see win, and who we think deserves to win on the day!!

Weak as **** by you "maclurem". Language like that is voiced on every ground in every state. Week in week out and you know it. 2 weeks is a joke. You gonna tell me you don t hear language every weekend when you umpire directly or indirectley!? There d be knowone left if that was the case. Umpires could play kick to kick together. Obviously my ears played up on the weekend, what was so obscene it warranted 2 weeks??

Exactly,Neutral means no favouritism towards any team! You shouldnt want any team to win more than any other as this can influence your decisions and maybe the result!

If you are making decisions based on who you think deserves to win then you better hang your whistle up because the team that wins isnt always the team that deserves to!

why am i weak as ****? of course language is voiced on the ground everywhere in australia every saturday and sunday, but this language was directed specifically at her!! and was totally uncalled for!! of course i hear language, but it is not needed, and not tolerated if it comes from players directed specifically at umpires!!

there'd be no one left if what was the case?

purss got what he deserved, there was no need for his stupid and disrespectful comment!!

no we give decisions how we seem them, right then and there, obviously my comment went straight thru your peanut of a brain, NEUTRAL means that you dont show any bias towards any team!!!

it doesnt affect our decision making!!! you wouldnt know this because you have never been an umpire!! we dont want them to win, it doesnt matter!!
